We’re proud to see regular performer at LPR, pianist Taka Kigawa featured in The New York Times. Kigawa made his annual appearance at LPR on Monday. The Times paints a lovely image of the evening writing that “The house was full on Monday, when Mr. Kigawa played an ambitious program of 21st-century works, including Luciano Berio’s powerful Piano Sonata. But even if the lucky few there sang his praises, their friends would need to wait another year to hear why.”

Taka Kigawa is a regular at (Le) Poisson Rouge and a great friend of the venue. We’re always happy to host him and look forward to many more wonderful evenings with him! If you missed it, you can check photos from Monday’s performance in the gallery below. Photos by Mark Shelby Perry.
