SPIN just debuted a new video for “The Leading Bird” from Czech singer-songwriter Marketa Irglova’s forthcoming album Muna. The Swell Season member’s second solo record comes out September 23 on Anti Records, and she’ll be playing LPR on Friday, October 10.
 
Featuring Paraguayan dancer Maria Alejandra Jara De Marco and made by Irglova’s Icelandic pals Refur Creative, Hörður Sveinsson, Helgi Jóhannsson and Atli Viðar, the video is a truly international affair.
 
Like the Muna track “This Right Here,” which we shared back in July, “The Leading Bird” is “inspired by the open space, the wilderness of the nature, the strong energy coming from the land” in Iceland, where Irglova moved to write and record the album.
