The Nerdlesque Festival is the first ever festival dedicated to nerd and pop culture related burlesque. Created in 2014, this annual festival showcases the best in nerdlesque from across the globe, brought together for one jam-packed weekend in New York City full of shows, classes, parties, panels, and more! As the popularity of nerd-friendly burlesque and cabaret rises daily, this festival aims to encourage and foster the development of nerdlesque as an art form and a community. On April 2nd, our powers combine to turn New York City into the epicenter of glittery naked nerdery!

TABLE SEATING POLICY
Table seating for all seated shows is reserved exclusively for ticket holders who purchase “Table Seating” tickets. By purchasing a “Table Seating” ticket you agree to also purchase a minimum of two food and/or beverage items per person. Table seating is first come, first seated. Please arrive early for the best choice of available seats. Seating begins when doors open. Tables are communal so you may be seated with other patrons. We do not take table reservations.
  
A standing room area is available by the bar for all guests who purchase “Standing Room” tickets. Food and beverage can be purchased at the bar but there is no minimum purchase required in this area.
  
All tickets sales are final. No refund or credits.

Lux LaCroix

Lux LaCroix is a burlesque star, documentary filmmaker, professional ballerina and award winning choreographer. Professionally she has worked with artists such as Kanye West, Beyonce, N.E.R.D., OutKast, Janet Jackson and Lady GaGa. In 2009 her burlesque based performance art piece, “Color Me Purple,” was featured at REDCAT’S Spring Studio program. In 2010, she became a Principal dancer with the touring division of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Company.
 
Lux is also a regular performer in the Mexican Wrestling and Saucy Striptease extravaganza known as Lucha VaVOOM! Since 2006, Lux LaCroix has been featured performer at the New York Burlesque Festival and in 2008 she was named The Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Reigning Queen of Burlesque, 1st Runner Up as well as “Most Dazzling Performer.”

Anja Keister

The Dicey Dame of Burlesque, Anja Keister (New York) is a burlesque performer, host, and producer based out of NYC. She is most known for her nerdlesque group, D20 Burlesque, the longest running monthly nerdlesque show in NYC. She has performed all over the country at nerd conventions and burlesque festivals. She has been featured on CollegeHumor.com, The Washington Post, dubbed a Burlesque star of the Nerdlesque scene by Time Out NY and called “The Sexiest Nerd in NYC” by The New York Times.

She is owner of Glit-O-Rama Productions based out of (DC). She is also co-owner of a touring GoT themed burlesque show that is blessed by Mr. Martin Himself.

The Twisted Beauty of New York City, Dangrrr Doll is a multi-award winning performance artist and producer known for her stunning costumes and unique interpretation of burlesque. Hailed as “high concept” and “defiantly weird” by Burlesque Beat, Dangrrr brings classic beauty combined with pop culture savvy and a dose of heavy metal to the stage. A professional costumer by day, this globetrotting bombshell is the producer of RAWR! Burlesque and the brains behind NYCC’s official burlesque show. Dangrrr was listed at #34 in the Top 50 burlesque industry figures of 2014.

Liberty Rose

Cute as a button, this naughty nymph is the Resident Little from Philadelphia’s own Liberty City Kings Drag and Burlesque. Her baby face, disarming innocence, and busty/lusty charms will get your heart racing and make your sweet tooth sore. No stranger to the stage, Aida has worked professionally in theater, dance, and the circus, on and behind the stage, in both Philadelphia and her hometown of Las Vegas. Aida can be seen every first Saturdays of every month on the Liberty City Kings stage at Tabu and guest performing in venues in PA, NY, and NJ. Aida has performed at the 2015 Fierce: International Queer Burlesque Festival, the First Annual Philadelphia Burlesque Festival, and is a poster model for Passional Boutique in Philadelphia.

Matt Knife was born when Salvador Dali kissed Andy Warhol in Studio 54.
That union created the pop surrealist Matt Knife.
Matt Knife blends absurdity, humor, sexuality, gender queerness and nudity into a sexball of fun and magic.

Miss Mary Cyn

Miss Mary Cyn (New York) is a classically trained actor/designer with a passion for downtown performance.
Her ability to create a vivacious party atmosphere is what made her show, Original Cyn, a long running underground sensation.
As a founding member and co-producer of Epic Win Burlesque she became known for her painstakingly accurate costumes and loyal portrayal of pop culture characters.
Her current company, The Cyn Factory, creates performances that are a smooth blend of theatre, burlesque, and pop culture, all mixed up with a big dash of partying.

Nasty Canasta

Internationally-renowned neo-ecdysiast Nasty Canasta (Brooklyn) is frequently hailed as a genius of the neo-burlesque scene. A “burlesque queen” (The NY Times) and Runner Up at the 2010 Miss Exotic World Pageant, Nasty is host and producer of Naked Girls Reading NYC and an associate producer with Wasabassco. A full-time burlesque performer and producer since 2004, Nasty draws on her years of experience in the theatre to create acts and shows that combine tease and titillation, humor, spectacle and theatricality. She has performed internationally, and worked as a snake charmer and contortionist with the world-famous Coney Island Circus Sideshow.

Within months of her debut, Poison was nominated for Hottest Freshman at the 2012 New York Burlesque Festival and was a recent competitor in the Best Debut category at the 2015 Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender
 
With a background in theater and dance, Ivory’s combination of thoughtful musicality, sultry expression and sensual movements always leaves her audience wanting more.

Tiger Bay is the international sensation (she performed in Canada once) known as The Whoopee Cushion of Burlesque.

She is based in New York City where she was crowned Miss Coney Island 2017. Her other awards include the 2016 AlternaTEASE “WTF” Award and the 2015 New York Burlesque Festival “Huh?” Golden Pastie Award.

Tiger Bay brings her unique brand of weirdness throughout the cosmos…and beyond! She regularly tours with the Wham Bam Glitter Glam show. Check her calendar for upcoming shows and events!

She has graced the stages of a variety of festivals such as MEW, Jim Thorpe , New York Burlesque Fest, World Pride, Alternatease, Boudoir and even the Anarchist festival. She has taught workshops for the Everything to do with Sex show, Salon L’amour et seduction, National Womens Show, and Kinky festival. She has produced for Montreal Fetish Weekend and Montreal’s Just for laughs festival.
Velma is co-producer and animator of the Women’s Workshop Weekend and the Montreal Redlight Walking Tour.

Viktor Devonne (New Jersey) is a director and producer for White Elephant Burlesque based in NJ and currently headlining Wednesdays at RockBar NYC. This queer clownboy, Viktor is celebrating 9 years in burlesque and 14 years taking his clothes off on stage. He enjoys white wine, his favorite word’s ‘curvature,’ and his idols include Madonna and Elaine Stritch; he some day wishes to live in some combination of Sleep No More and the Golden Girls. If heaven exists, he hopes to arrive at the pearly gates where God says to him, “You brought your iPod, right?”

After finishing school she set out on a path to be as outrageous and quirky on stage as her glitter filled heart desired. Jeez took home the titles of Miss Viva Las Vegas in 2012, Shimmy Showdown Champion in 2013, and Southern Fried Burlesque Queen in 2014. She’s been voted into the Top 50 Burlesque Industry Figures since 2010 and broke the Top 20 in 2013 and 2014. A skilled improviser with impeccable comedic timing, Jeez Loueez also charms as the host of Jeezy’s Juke Joint: A Black Burly-Q Revue and the Show-Me Burlesque & Vaudeville Festival.
 
When she’s not onstage or behind the scenes, Jeez works as a dance instructor and figure model, and is frequently sought out as a panelist on topics ranging from feminism and burlesque, to body positivity and cultural appropriation. Her classes and productions have been featured on Autostraddle, Ebony.com, and Windy City Live.
