Le Poisson Rouge invites you to SUBHAZE an ethereal pulsating audio-visual performance installation by composer Ricardo Romaneiro, projection artist Christian Hannon, clarinetist Vasko Dukovski, & sound engineer Leo Leite.

Intangible visual dimensions created with fog, lights, lasers, strobes and video projection mapping transforms the space with a 16 channel surround sound electronic musical score accompanied by a modified bass clarinet transcending the barrier of sound. The music has an auditory illusion perceived by binaural beats that takes the listener on a cerebral cortex journey thru the five brainwaves (Gamma, Beta, Alpha, Theta & Delta). These altered states are reached by brainwaves entrainment from low frequency pulsations in the music amplified by the subwoofers.

While the degree and nature of alteration is partially dependent on personal perception. Timing for the experience is open ended – doors will be open from 8pm to 11pm.

Performance version: 180 minutes, controlled by the artists in real time.
