DJ Cosi and Marc Smooth host their classic dance party that aims to preserve the essence of “Old” New York City Nightlife culture, when music was the “answer” and folks got down on the dance floor. This week is a special one as we’re doing an ALL R&B party featuring the incredible DJ Neil Armstrong. Expect to hear some 80s/90s R&B, Soul Classics, Neo-Soul, New R&B, Duets and songs featuring Hip Hop MCs and more! It’s going to be an incredible night!

At NYC Dope! we normally play a Classic Soundtrack of 80s/90s Pop, Soul Classics, Golden Era Hip Hop, Soulful House, Classic Rock, Dancehall Reggae, Soca, Latin, Afrobeats and some new classics that stand the test of time.

Come party with some of the best dancers in the city and a great crowd of New Yorkers who love to dance, sing-a-long, drink, party and create community! At NYC Dope we’re all about bringing together people from all walks of life to share the love of good music and dancing, it’s a family affair in here.

It all goes down at the very special Gallery at LPR, a great, intimate room with a state of the art Martin Audio Sound System, Strong cocktails and friendly staff which helps create a nice atmosphere for folks to rock out to.
