The NY Pin Up Club has been producing retro themed photo shoots, burlesque shows and events since 2006! Our shoots are inspired by the classic photos, drawings, and paintings of the late ’40s and ’50s, occasionally spanning anywhere from the ’30s-’60s. They are the kind of sexy, kitschy, fun images of pretty girls that guys would “pin up” in their lockers or at the garage. We offer different themes every month for your modern pin up needs!

The NY Pin Up Club has been producing burlesque in NYC since 2007. Our monthly show ran for more than 5 years at venues such as The Slipper Room and The Bowery Poetry Club, intermixed with one off shows and events at many other venues. We showcased our large scale themed spectaculars known as “The Big Tease” at multiple venues around the city, the last of which was the Main Room at LPR in 2014! Minx Arcana is “The Dark Flame of Desire,” a sultry NYC burlesque vixen whose signature style infuses sumptuous vintage glamour with hints of noir, the occult, and a rock ‘n’ roll spirit.

A classically-trained dancer and alum of the New York School of Burlesque (2010), Minx has graced stages in North America and Europe, with notable performances at The Prague Fringe Festival (2016), The New York Burlesque Festival (2017, 2015 & 2013), The Miss Coney Island Pageant (2015), The Toronto Burlesque Festival (2015), The Show Me Burlesque & Vaudeville Festival (2015), and The Vancouver International Burlesque Festival (2014). Crowned “Miss Twin Peaks 2015” for her homage to Twin Peaks’ neo-noir femme fatale, Josie Packard, she is a core cast member of the David Lynch/Showtime-approved The Pink Room: David Lynch Burlesque. Versed in both classic and neo-burlesque, Minx thrives on bewitching her audiences with her lavish & original costuming and her uniquely mysterious allure. Her on-screen appearances include Showtime’s Twin Peaks: The Phenomenon, PlayMe Burlesque, Getting Naked: A Burlesque Story, The Cruel Tale of the Medicine Man, and ABC News’ Nightline.

An active player in the New York City burlesque circuit, Minx has worked her magic at such renowned performance venues as Duane Park, The Highline Ballroom, Le Poisson Rouge, and Coney Island USA as well as trailblazing cocktail bars like Employees Only, Macao Trading Co., and Apotheke.

Francine “The Lucid Dream” is a singer, burlesque performer and producer of The Pink Room Burlesque & Dreamboat Burlesque. She is the reigning Queen of Como Lake, Italy, Miss Twin Peaks 2016 and has appeared on NBC’s Today, Showtime’s “Twin Peaks: The Phenomenon” & ABC’s Nightline. Francine has had the honor of sharing the stage with Colin Quinn, Horatio Sanz, Murray Hill, Bridgett Everett and entertaining such notables as Lady Gaga, Donatella Versace, Kate Upton, Joaquin Phoenix & Jeremy Renner.

This native of Detroit is made out of brown sugar, honey, cocoa, gold and the strength of ten moons,​ and is known as the Sweet Sensation of Burlesque CeCeBrownSugah. She is a 2011 ​graduate of Brown Girls Burlesque Broad Squad​, ​a trained Ailey dancer, and has been performing burlesque in NY for 8 years​. You can currently catch her every Monday night with The Sophisticated Ladies at the Cotton Club in Harlem. Biweekly she performs in the​ Koffee Burlesque & Variety Show at Essence Bar​,​ and seasonally at Joe’s Pub with the cast of Dirty Honey Shake. Other shows she has performed in include Uptown Belles & Dandy Wellington Band, Ziegfeld Midnight Frolic, On Kentucky Avenue Motown Revue, and Becoming Bettie Page. As an actress she has been featured on the television shows “Black Rest”, “Dance Moms “and “30 Rock”. Her modeling and styling has been featured in ​the ​Shades of Burlesque 2016 Pinup Calendar and Cinematiq Magazine Black History Calendar​.​ She has ​performed in ​The ​New York Burlesque Festival, Miss ​Coney Island Pageant, Fierce​!​ Burlesque Fest​ival​ PA, New Orleans SisterSong Festival and Jeezy’s Juke Joint Burlesque in Chicago. Her choreography is featured ​in​ the Gemini & Scorpio Burlesque troupe “Meet Me in Paris”​ show and in ​”​Ghosts​ ​Appearing ​Through ​The ​Sound​:​ A Tribute to Abbey Lincoln​”​ every February/March. She is teaching burlesque and sexy heels classes in NY and in the Broad Squad Workshop at ​the ​Wow ​Cafe​ Theater in the fall. Margo Mayhem is one of the newest bombshells to explode onto the burlesque scene. She is known to add her extensive dance background to the sultry styles of traditional burlesque, while rounding out her pieces with edgy, yet sensual antics to keep her audiences begging to see what’s next. While she can currently be seen taking a bite out of The Big Apple’s burlesque arena, the Princess of Pandemonium is also blazing a hot trail across the country and internationally. Look out…

​Jeane Harlot is the Redhead in the Limelight! She’s a classic slice of New York apple pie, with lots of sugar and extra spice. Jeane is both a pin-up and burlesque performer, and currently Philadelphia’s Miss Pin-up Peepshow for 2018. She’s also a member of the PA Liberty Belles which is a Northeast based pin-up group focused on volunteer work and community service.  ​

DJ Ceremony is one of New York City’s most in-demand Alternative DJs. He has a 1st Saturday residency (as a producer/DJ) at the popular Greenpoint live music venue Saint Vitus. There he produces his flagship party “Oscillate Wildly” (a Smiths/Morrissey-themed fan celebration), in addition to a ’90s Britpop night that occurs on alternating months. He also has a weekly 3rd Saturday residency at Parklife, sister venue to Littlefield in Brooklyn. He can also regularly be heard as a guest DJ or one-night-only producer at an eclectic array of local venues such as Le Poisson Rouge, Gemini & Scorpio Loft, Beauty Bar, Berlin and Rumpus Room. Although DJ Ceremony’s specialty is UK Alternative music, he performs in a versatile range of different styles, and enjoys bringing a fun, kinetic sound to NY Pin Up Club shows.
