All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Physical photo ID required for all shows with age restrictions – no exceptions.
When an event sells out, fans who missed out on tickets can join the Waitlist for a chance to purchase tickets from someone who can no longer attend. Joining the Waitlist does NOT guarantee entry to the event, please do NOT arrive at the venue unless you are contacted about tickets becoming available.

• If a ticket becomes available, you’ll be notified and your credit card will be charged.

Martin Dupont

MARTIN DUPONT is a French new wave group new wave band formed in 1981 in Marseille (PACA region) by ALAIN SEGHIR (vocals/bass), CATHERINE LOY (vocals/synths),BRIGITTE BALIAN (vocals/guitar) and PATRICK PORTELLA (clarinet).
ALAIN was first a member of MUD SHARK with JACOB DESVARIEUX, the future KASSAV. Then he joine d MAGMO ZWEÏ, before forming INNOCULATING RABIES with a young punk of 14-year-old punk, KITO.
The group MARTIN DUPONT signs on the Aix-en-Provence label, Facteurs d’Ambiance. In 1983, PATRICK PORTELLA is replaced by BEVERLEY JANE CREW (keyboards/sax/vocals/clarinet).
This was followed by an opening concert for LOUNGE LIZARDS in June ’83 and CATHERINE withdraws. In November 1984, MARTIN DUPONT opened a SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES concert in Montpellier. March 1985, another opening concert for the LOTUS EATERS, this time in Marseille. Discography:

By 1987, they disbanded but left behind three cult albums: Just Because, Sleep Is A Luxury, and Hot Paradox, one cassette entitled Inédits 1981-1983, and one 7” single entitled Your Passion. Martin Dupont remained under the radar for over thirty years
In July 2008, Minimal Wave released the compilation Lost & Late3 on limited-edition vinyl. This includes a number of tracks released on the 81-83 cassette of unreleased material, released in 1985, as well as the single Your Passion and the version of Just Because that appeared on the album of the same name.
The Des jeunes gens mödernes compilation under the aegis of Agnès b. was released in 2008.
The albums are reissued on CD in 2009, with numerous previously unreleased tracks, as well as a 4-CD anthology box set on the French labels Infrastition.
In 2011 Madlib samples Martin Dupont’s Just because on For the nasty3.
In 2014 Tricky samples Just because again on his new album Adrian Thaws, on the track something in the way3; as Martin Dupont was not credited, the sample has been removed from digital versions.
In 2015 Kanye West introduced Martin Dupont to Theophilus London, who covered Take a look on his new Kanye West-produced album Vibes4.
In 2017, Martin Dupont is covered by German DJs, Mick Wills (the lights) and Marcel Dettmann (Selectors 003), as well as American DJ DJ Rat-Ward (Auxiliary Selector).
At the end of 2017, Martin Dupont was the subject of a tribute album with international groups by the Boredom label: Broken memory .
The band DyE (Tigersushi) covers Inside out on the album entitled Inside out in tribute to Martin Dupont released in February 2018.
The box set The complete collection 1980-1988 comprising 5 vinyl LPs is released in December 2018 on the New York label Minimal Wave, the artwork is by Peter Miles.
In November 2019 Martin Dupont appears on the soundtrack of Chanson douce, a film directed by Lucie Borleteau and starring Karin Viard, based on the novel of the same name by Leila Slimani, winner of the 2016 Goncourt Prize. 2020 sees the release of the unreleased track Nice boy on the compilation Des jeunes gens modernes volume 3, under the aegis of Marc Collin (Nouvelle Vague group) and Agnès b.
2019 Thierry Sintoni and Sandrine Casado (Rise and Fall of a Decade, Girls like you) and Ollivier Leroy (Olli and the Bollywood orchestra, Contréo, Olli and the secret church) join the band.
In 2021, German filmmaker Caroline Pitzen uses Martin Dupont’s Love on My Side in her film Freizeit oder: das Gegenteil von Nichtstu, selected for Berlin Critics’ Week 2021 and Cinéma du réel, Paris 2021.
The album Kintsugi is recorded in 2022 with the new line-up and co-produced by the American label Minimal Wave and the French labels Infrastition and Meidosem records.
