Luca Ravenna

Born and raised in Milan, at 19, Luca Ravenna (1987) https://www.lucaravenna.com/info moved to Rome to study at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, where he  graduated in 2011 in screenwriting. Among his first writing experiences was collaborating  with the Roman comedy group The Pills and co-writing the sitcom Zio Gianni, which aired  on Rai 2. His career took a substantial turn when he decided to focus on stand-up  performances. After participating in TV shows Natural Born Comedians and Stand Up  Comedy, both on Comedy Central, in 2018, he toured his first show, In the Ghetto.  Alongside his comedy career, he has worked as a TV writer, collaborating on programs like  Quelli che il calcio and Che fuori tempo che fa. On April 17, 2020, his second show, Luca  Ravenna Live @, in collaboration with Aguila and Indigo Film, was released online,  followed by the Rodrigo Live event nationwide. Since the same year, together with  Edoardo Ferrario, he has hosted the podcast Cachemire, which is released weekly on  YouTube. The comic duo subsequently organized the Cachemire Summer Tour, with stops  across the country. In March 2021, he released Luca Ravenna: Improv Special vol. 1, a  fully improvised show via The Comedy Club platform, while in April, he participated as a  contestant in the game show LOL – Chi ride è fuori on Prime Video. In June, he debuted  as an actor in the film Appunti di un venditore di donne, directed by Fabio Resinaro, an  adaptation of Giorgio Faletti’s novel of the same name.

In 2022, he wrote and directed the comic monologue 568 (now available on Amazon  Prime), attracting over 30,000 spectators across Italy and Europe and becoming the first  among the new generation of Italian comedians to enter the international scene.  Throughout the year, he was chosen (along with Edoardo Ferrario) to dub the second film  in the American animated series Beavis and Butt-head, released in 2022 as Beavis & Butt  Head Do the Universe. At the beginning of 2023, together with fellow comedian Daniele

Tinti, he founded and hosted the weekly sports podcast TAQ – Tutti allenatori qui, which  later evolved into Antenna Sport, debuting at the top of the Top Podcast chart. On April 14,  2023, he released the comedy album 568 for Sony Music Italy, a double LP from the show  of the same name recorded at the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber in Milan in the spring of  2022. With this record, Luca aims to introduce a new way of experiencing stand-up  comedy shows in Italy, innovating the scene and recalling the traditional comic vinyls  popular in the 80s.

Between autumn/winter 2023 and spring 2024, he toured theaters across Italy with the  monologue RED SOX – Uno spettacolo comico di Luca Ravenna, produced and  distributed by Trident Music, achieving record numbers: 70,000 tickets sold and 50 sold out dates (including 12 at the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber in Milan). Luca Ravenna is also  an audiobook narrator: “L’uomo di marketing e la variante limone”, read by Ravenna and  the author Walter Fontana (Giunti Editore / Bompiani), is available exclusively on Storytel.
