The Tiny Dancer of Burlesque from NYC. The winner of Best Costume at the 2013 Texas Burlesque Festival. She has also performed in the New York Burlesque Festival, Toronto 2012 & 2013’s Glam-A-Ganza, The Great Burlesque Expo-Boston, Texas Festival & Infringement Festival in Buffalo NY. She has studied with Howling Vic and taken several classes at the school of burlesque. International burlesque star Minnie Tonka hails from the Land of 10,000 Lakes – that’s Minnesota – but is based in New York City. Known as the One Woman Riot, Minnie’s theatrical, inventive, and flirtatious striptease has been dazzling audiences across the globe since 2004. Minnie is a multiple-time New York Burlesque Festival Golden Pastie Award Winner and was voted #23 in the Top International Burlesque Industry Figures of 2012. She’s the co-founder of Kosher ChiXXX Jewish Burlesque Revue, produces the annual Menorah Horah Hanukkah burlesque show, The Burning Bush VS. The Second Coming, and she produced and starred in Dangerous Curves Ahead: Burlesque on the Go-Go, the USA’s premier national touring burlesque troupe, and more. A solo performer who can be seen every night on stages across New York City, Minnie Tonka also performs as one half of The Schlep Sisters – the internationally acclaimed duo competed at the ‘09 and ‘11 Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas for “Best Group!” Minnie’s lusty hilarity has graced the stages of the Burlesque Hall of Fame as a Best Debut Contender 2011 and in the Movers, Shakers, & Innovators Showcase 2012, Reigning Queen of Burlesque in 2013, The New York Burlesque Festival, Toronto Burlesque Festival, Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, Show-Me Burlesque Festival, Midwest Burlesk Festival, Tease-O-Rama, and the Key West Burlesque Holiday Extravaganza. Minnie was a Featured Performer at the 2013 Minneapolis Burlesque Festival and in 2012, Miss Tonka was a Headliner at Girlesque 7 in Toronto and at the 4th Annual Dallas Burlesque Festival. Minnie is a sought after burlesque performer and teacher and has toured the world, performing to packed houses in Australia, Italy, Finland, England, Sweden, Germany, and across North America.

Bunny Buxom: Recently named the Hottest Freshman at the 2013 New York Burlesque Festival, Bunny Buxom is a New York City based burlesque performer,kitten, and go go dancer. Bunny graduated from the New York School of Burlesque in November of 2011 and has been performing since. Her acts straddle the gap between sexy and adorable, classical and neo, but she always loves to shake every one of her signature curves. In addition to burlesque, Bunny works as an administrative assistant for the New York School of Burlesque and as a production assistant for Pinchbottom Productions and Porkpie International Productions. Bunny is also part of the dynamic duo known as Lil Bunz, with her duet partner Little Motown. They have been performing together since August of 2012.

Dr. Lucky is a staple performer, educator, and producer in the downtown performance art scene. Designated a “big, bad, bold drag queen” by Bust magazine and a “Burlesque Expert” by NY1 and Big Think, Dr. Lucky’s unique comedic timing, over-the-top theatricality and glamorous excess have won her critical acclaim across the globe. She has headlined and hosted the Toronto Burlesque Festival (3 times), Burlesque Hall of Fame (3 times), New York Burlesque Festival (2 times), Southwest Burlesque Showcase (2 times), and Key West Festival. She teaches burlesque at New York University (since 2005), the New York School of Burlesque, and has taught classes at conferences, burlesque schools, and colleges including New York University, Burlesque Hall of Fame, BurlyCon, CUNY, MICA, Academy of Burlesque, and many others.

Dottie Dynamo has been performing for two and half years in NYC and NJ. She recently performed at the Toronto Burlesque Festival and competed for the title of Miss Coney Island. Known for being an energetic powerhouse she performs mostly classic styled acts with lots of bump and grind. She may be sweet but she’s no stranger to mischevious antics after all Dottie is the ‘The Lovable Bundle of Tits N’ Trouble’

Brief Sweat: Under various guises, Brief Sweat has been a performer, costumer and producer in the downtown scene since the early 2000s. From humble beginnings as a gogo dancer at the nefarious club Mother, he carved out a niche in NYC clubland for four years with the fire/freak performance troupe known as the P-cult. For the past three years he has been pratfalling across stages in a flashback of polyester and broken discoball dreams. He likes shag rugs, snickers bars, and LADEEEZ. rightONNN.

Jo Weldon is the Headmistress and Founder of the New York School of Burlesque, and is one of the most recognized burlesque instructors in the world. She is a recipient of the coveted Burlesque Hall of Fame award for Recognition of Outstanding Contribution to the Art of Burlesque. She has been interviewed for or mentioned in countless major press articles, films, documentaries, news items, and television shows. Internationally renowned, Jo Boobs has rounded her heels on stages from Coney Island to Sydney Harbour.
 
She is Co-Director of Education at The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Co-Curator of Burlycon, and conducts the Master Class in Burlesque at Coney Island USA.
 
In addition to teaching and performing, Jo has released three ground-breaking how-to burlesque DVDs (via World Dance New York), and her critically acclaimed book The Burlesque Handbook, with a foreword by Margaret Cho, (HarperCollins) is the first book ever published on how to create burlesque routines. She is also the founder of Pink Light Burlesque, a program that produces free burlesque classes for breast cancer survivors and patients.

Ginger Twist is a New York burlesque performer and producer. She made her mark on the scene in Beyond Bandits Theatre Company’s production of “An Evening with Ginger Twist and Friends” at The Creek and The Cave in Long Island City, NY to a sold out audience. Since then she has graced the stages of venues throughout the United States. She is the co-producer of the Burlesque Legends Calendar and Tribute Show benefiting the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. Standing six feet, one inch tall, Marinka has adopted the description, “The Amazon Woman.” She’s been performing since 1960 in hotels and nightclubs all over the world with some of the biggest names in the industry from Sally Rand to Rose La Rose. She worked with Abbie Lane at the Town and Country in Brooklyn and with the Ann Corio show “This Was Burlesque.” Bringing her career full circle, Marinka once did a 6 month run in a show called “Strip” on Bleecker Street at a place named The Village Gate. Which is now known as Le Poisson Rouge!

Amber Ray is an International Burlesque sensation and downtown NYC Diva with a vibrant and diverse career spanning over a decade, musing many an expression of art.
 
She’s headlined in fabulous festivals and beautiful venues across the planet dancing her way through Europe, Australia, Canada and the US.
 
Other work includes major events such as the Life Ball in Vienna, and other countless high end soirees for style makers such as Marc Jacobs, Agent Provocateur, Suzanne Bartsch and even having had an act and costume designed by fashion visionary Thierry Mugler.
 
Amber Ray also works as a style maker behind the scenes where she designs custom headdresses, accessories and costumes for burlesque queens as well as constantly tending her garden of sparkling flower clips, Amber Ray Accoutrements, which adorn thousands of characters worldwide.
