On Monday, June 18, Varsity Letters returns to The Gallery at LPR with some of our favorite sportswriters.
Dave Zirin will be discussing his two new books, Jim Brown: Last Man Standing, and Things That Make White People Uncomfortable, co-written with Michael Bennett.
He’ll be joined by Mike Pesca, author of Upon Further Review: The Greatest What-Ifs in Sports History and host of the podcast with the same name, as well as Slate’s daily podcast, The Gist.
Also speaking will be legendary sportswriter Robert Lipsyte. He’ll be reading from and discussing the reprint of his seminal work, SportsWorld: An American Dreamland.
