Skylar Grey is a five-time Grammy nominated and RIAA Diamond Award winning singer/songwriter responsible for co-writing some of the most memorable songs to light up the Billboard Hot 100 and iTunes sales charts, totaling more than 25 million in sales worldwide.

Grey is perhaps most known as a songwriter, particularly for her work with Eminem. Co-writing the 12x platinum smash hit “Love the Way You Lie,” featuring Rihanna, which led to Grey working on over a dozen songs with him and collaborators including Dr. Dre, Beyoncé, Pink, and Alicia Keys. She has performed with him on numerous occasions including The Grammys, SNL, and his world tours.

Grey most recently performed the end title song for the movie “Aquaman,” called “Everything I Need.” Grey’s cover of “Stand By Me” made waves after being the featured song in Budweiser’s 2018 Super Bowl commercial. In 2017, Grey featured on Macklemore’s platinum single “Glorious,” which was included on his solo album, Gemini.
Currently, Grey is working on new music that revisits her organic roots. “I’ve gone on a lot of musical adventures over the years, working in hip-hop and EDM and experimenting in all different genres,” Grey says. “But lately I’ve been drawn to the nostalgia of an acoustic 70’s inspired sound, and lyrical storytelling, which is how my whole music career began when I started performing with my mother at age six.”

Eminem and Alex Da Kid executive produced Grey’s debut album Don’t Look Down, which was released on July 5, 2013. In its first week of release the album debuted at #8 on the US Billboard 200 chart in the United States. Grey released her sophomore album, Natural Causes on September 23, 2016. Writing and recording much of the album at her home in Park City, UT she found inspiration through nature.

With additional co-writing and feature credits include songs with the likes of Puff Daddy, Nicki Minaj, Zedd, Kaskade, Lupe Fiasco, Kid Cudi, TI, and Christina Aguilera, Grey has spent the past decade quietly assembling one of modern music’s most ubiquitous and undeniable discographies. In 2015, she contributed “I Know You” to the chart-dominating Fifty Shades of Grey official soundtrack and “I Will Return” to the Furious 7 official soundtrack. In 2016, Grey contributed a pair of tracks to the Billboard-topping Suicide Squad official soundtrack, entitled “Wreak Havoc” and a songwriting credit for Kehlani’s “Gangsta.”

Grey a Wisconsin native, currently resides in Napa, California.
