“CONTROVERSY”—The Scandalous NYC Prince Tribute Party: Bimonthly
DJ Ceremony presents a bimonthly tribute to Prince at The Gallery at LPR! Although the sound of the party will span his entire career, “CONTROVERSY” will be focusing primarily on Prince’s catalogue from 1978′s “For You” LP through all ten albums of the ’80s, and up to the “Diamonds And Pearls” and “Love Symbol” albums of the early ’90s. Come ready 4 an all-night parade of Prince hits, deep tracks, & classics. (Supported by The Minneapolis Sound, 80s Funk, Retro Dance Grooves, Prince protégés & related artists) Prince-related films screened all night.

DJ Ceremony has played at well over 150 venues in and around New York City since 2001. He is the current producer and DJ of the celebrated monthly NYC Smiths & Morrissey fan party at The Gallery At LPR: “Oscillate Wildly,” which is now in its sixth year. He also founded and co-produced a weekly neo-burlesque and variety show: “Corruption At Tammany Hall” in 2012, and produces an array of specialized themed parties around New York City.

“Oscillate Wildly”—The Celebrated NYC Smiths & Morrissey Fan Party, now in its 7th year. “Oscillate Wildly” is very pleased to be presenting its third special expanded edition to kick off Halloween weekend 2016! We’re thrilled to be holding our party in the gorgeous main space of Le Poisson Rouge in NYC’s West Village. Oscillate Wildly’s “Moz cinema” films are sure to look stunning on Le Poisson Rouge’s huge screens! The October 27th edition will also serve as the after-party for Mexrrissey’s live performance at LPR. As usual, bring your dancing shoes to “Oscillate Wildly,” and hit the dance floor for a night packed with the most beloved Smiths & Morrissey classics and deep cuts, punctuated by the best in classic ’90s Britpop, Manchester, Alternative ’80s, and UK Postpunk.
