Broadside

WHEN YOU CHECK INTO A HOTEL, YOU IMMEDIATELY STEP INTO ANOTHER MINDSET. IT MAY NOT BE HOME, BUT YOU CAN STILL REST, NONETHELESS. WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE OR WHAT WILL GO DOWN AFTER, YOU ADD TO THE HISTORY OF EACH ROOM. IN THE MORNING, YOU LEAVE AND ESSENTIALLY RETURN TO REALITY. BROADSIDE EXPLORE THIS PHENOMENON ON THEIR FOURTH FULL-LENGTH ALBUM, HOTEL BLEU (OUT NOVEMBER 10TH VIA SHARPTONE RECORDS). THE TRIO—OLIVER BAXXTER [VOCALS], DOMENIC REID [GUITAR], AND PATRICK DIAZ [BASS]—ARCHITECT A THEMATIC VISION AS EXPANSIVE AND ENGAGING AS THEIR SEISMIC AND SOARING ALTERNATIVE POP HOOKS. AFTER POSTING UP NORTH OF 100 MILLION CUMULATIVE STREAMS AND BUILDING A DEVOUT AUDIENCE, THE BAND DELIVER THEIR BOLDEST, BRIGHTEST, AND BIGGEST BODY OF WORK YET.

Bearings

Born in college dorm rooms in Canada’s capital city, Bearings are the latest in a long line of emotionally-driven rock groups to make their way out of the great white North. Following the acclaim for their Pure Noise Records debut,”Nothing Here Is Permanent” in Fall of 2017, the band landed tours with the likes of State Champs, Four Year Strong and Less Than Jake, lifting them to new heights and captivating audiences with their expertly crafted sound made up of influences new and old.

Building on their reputation for skillful songwriting and emotive storytelling, Bearings are gearing up for the release of their debut Pure Noise Records LP,”Blue In The Dark.” The new album is a collection of songs that will whet the appetite of current fans while showing off the group’s ability to grow as artists and not simply stick to their laurels.”Blue In The Dark” will be available everywhere in October 12, 2018.

Unwell

All we want is to save and inspire people that are UNWELL just like us,” frontman Matt Copley says. “We want to make an impact more than the music.”

All five members of Detroit-based band UNWELL are driven by one dream: to make an impact beyond the notes on the page. Coming together from various musical backgrounds spanning the realms of musical theater, post-hardcore, and everything in between, the guys describe their sound as Great Lake State Pop-Punk: a unique blend of evocative lyrics, hard-hitting drums, and guitar leads reminiscent of your Warped Tour Emo Phase.

Since their first single, “Tightrope,” dropped in 2021, UNWELL has proven itself to be a heavy-hitter in the next generation of rock acts. Their debut EP, New Moons, is a 7-track collection of songs that paints a picture of the highs and lows of love, life, and friendship. It concludes with their pop-goes-punk rendition of “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman, which has earned over 4 million streams since its release.

Now, as a proudly independent band, UNWELL shows no signs of slowing down. Their first independent single, “Epiphany,” debuted at #3 on the iTunes Rock Charts. Having performed alongside bands such as Alesana, Belmont, Rain City Drive, & Every Avenue, UNWELL recently embarked on their first headliner supporting their new album “TRIAL & ERROR”. With traveling around the country comes the chance to meet music listeners just like them—and hopefully, instill a spark in them to live life to the fullest.
