Ara Malikian Live
Violinist Ara Malikian celebrated his fifteenth anniversary living in Spain with a unique and unrepeatable concert at the Teatro Real in Madrid, a place that saw the beginning of his musical career in Spain. The concert was for the author a special meaning, since it marks the end of a cycle in his career as a musician and the beginning of a new phase with an eye to the international market and in the composition of its own repertoire.
This concert was the culmination of this long period of work and effort and thank the public who supported him during these 15 years that has represented more than 4,000 concerts in every corner of Spain. This concert was accompanied by some of the artists with whom he has collaborated in recent years, with whom he performed a review of the main shows in Spain.
“15” is also the name of the CD / DVD that came to light in February 2015 and includes the recording of the concert and numerous extras and additional material.
“15” is also the name of the tour that is taking him to hang the “sold out” in the best theaters in our country. The program for this concert includes the best of the past 15 years in Spain, as well as his first compositions in more than a decade.
The central idea that drives this new tour, as usual, is to bring classical music to all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest. The repertoire of the band consists of both classics and adaptations from the orchestral repertoire of popular music of the twentieth century.
