Adi Oasis

The French-Caribbean artist Adi Oasis is excited to share latest album, Lotus Glow.

Her first album as Adi Oasis, Lotus Glow represents her most personal work to date – and also her most political. For Adi, the political themes are unavoidable. “I’m a black female immigrant living in America,” she explains. These are my truths.” in the Parisian projects to being a Black woman in America. “Lotus Glow represents the flower I’ve blossomed into, the artist I’ve worked on becoming all my life. The glow is where I am going next. It’s my destiny.” The album features an eclectic range of guests, including KIRBY, Leven Kali, Jamila Woods and Aaron Taylor

Since going solo in 2018, Adi has earned widespread critical acclaim, partly due to her incredible live shows. She has garnered critical praise from press including Vogue, Rolling Stone, Wonderland, Line of Best Fit, NME, Ear Milk and many others, and her single “Whisper My Name” was featured on COLORS in 2021.

Adi has toured globally, appearing with such artists as Anderson .Paak, Gregory Porter, JUNGLE, Keyshia Cole , Lee Fields, Big Freeda and more, and has performed at Central Park Summerstage, Afropunk, Funk on the Rocks (Red Rocks) and London Jazz Fest.

Miranda Joan

Canadian-born, Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, and musician Miranda Joan is currently on tour with The Killers and fresh from performances this summer with Kylie Minogue, Orchestre National de Jazz at Montréal Jazz Festival and with CARRTOONS. Miranda has performed on national tours, played sold-out and headline shows at well-known New York venues, provided backing vocals for the likes of Shawn Mendes, Lorde, and Andy Grammar, and joined Sly5thAve at Montréal JazzFest. In 2021 she was selected as one of First Up with RBCxMusic Emerging Artists as she released her debut album ‘Windborne’, the follow up to her 2019 EP “Still”. Both releases received consistent radio airplay and tastemaker support.

‘Overstimulated’ is her highly anticipated new album, co-produced by herself and multi-instrumentalist, and bass extraordinaire CARRTOONS, dropped November 10th. The release features offerings from Sly5thAve, Hailey Niswanger, Jake Sherman, Kristine Kruta aka Lil Kruta (The Eagles), Clairo keys player Danae Greenfield and Grammy-winning bassist Ben Williams. Singles from the album have received previous support from the likes of NPR, Nemone (BBC 6Music), Deb Grant & Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6Music), Huey Morgan (BBC 6Music), CassKidd (BBC 1Xtra), Francesca Harding (KCRW), Wonderland, Tony Minvielle (Jazz FM), BBC Focus Beats, Boba Fatt (Soho Radio), John Kennedy (Radio X), Consequence, EARMILK, Exclaim!, Stereofox and CBC, as well as playlisting on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds R&B. “It is an album book-ended by songs of affirmation, of rooting, of returning to and loving oneself, intertwined with the messy, chaotic and interconnected web of my hopes, dreams, imagination, love, and heartache”, Miranda muses.
Born in Montréal, Miranda spent her formative years growing up on the north shore of Vancouver, filling diaries with emotions and experiences. She moved to New York to study Jazz and continued to develop her unique style of soul, pop and jazz. Miranda co-hosts and co-founded Femme Jam (NYC’s first all-female led jam session); a community initiative to create a womxn-led space with an emphasis on female musicians that fosters inclusivity. For the past decade she has been a music mentor with youth who stutter at SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young.
