127 in concert

Founded in 2001 by a group of young Tehran artists and art students, 127 has found itself at the center of progressive cultural change in Iran. The band’s music melds Iranian melodies and jazz with an alternative sound. The band’s lyrics tell of the frustrations and joys of life, somehow managing to speak of their cultural time and place, while simultaneous reflecting universal frustrations of isolation, frustration, and hope. 127 is a 6 piece band -guitar, piano, trombone, bass and drums. The group has become a lightning-rod for international media attention.

The Casualty Process

The Casualty Process is a Brooklyn based electronic rock project formed in Tehran, Iran by Natch Nadjafi in 2010.

TCP music is described as a blending of cinematic sounds and epic codas; aggressive noises, meaty bass lines, growling synths, howling guitars, and dynamic rhythms with electro and rock influences.

The Casualty Process currently features Natch on guitar and synthesizers, Austin Dacey on bass guitar, Jordan Miller on vocals and Kami Babaei on drums.
