Drag superstar Sasha Velour’s sensational revue NightGowns (founded in 2015) has hosted some of the world’s greatest queer performers. In 2020 it was adapted into a critically-acclaimed DocuSeries. Now it is taking up residence at New York’s historic downtown music venue Le Poisson Rouge. Each month features new guest stars and fresh performances, all of which celebrate drag’s potential as an inclusive, experimental, and political art form. Don’t miss this!

This show includes both Standing and Seated tickets. By purchasing a Seated ticket you agree to also purchase a minimum of two food and/or beverage items per person.
Table seating is first come, first seated. Please arrive early for the best choice of available seats. Seating begins when doors open. Tables are communal so you may be seated with other patrons.

Sasha Velour

Sasha Velour is a genderfluid drag queen, global theatre star, award-winning television producer and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 9. Velour has headlined performances in theatres across the world, bewitching audiences on five continents. In 2019, she debuted her first one-queen show, Smoke & Mirrors, to critical acclaim. Hailed as “a spellbinding tour de force” (Forbes), the show has pushed the boundaries of what drag can be, incorporating Velour’s signature innovative use of video projection Smoke & Mirrors has since toured 30 cities across three continents, with sold out performances at iconic theaters in LA, London, San Francisco, Chicago, Auckland, Toronto, and more. With a 36-city European tour of the show kicking off in February 2022, Smoke & Mirrors is the first theatrical drag spectacular to integrate a full lip sync narrative and tour the world at this scale.
Velour is also widely known as the director and host of NightGowns, a drag revue she began in 2015. Over the years, it became one of the most esteemed and oft-imitated drag shows in the world and was adapted into a docu-series now streaming on The Roku Channel. As the founder of her production company, House of Velour, she produces live theatre, television, film, charity events, merchandise, graphic design, photography, and more.

Tenderoni

Tenderoni is a Chicago based, nationally renowned Drag King known for his throwback high-energy performances and rhinestoned looks.
He was the first Drag King to ever perform at Lollapalooza and was the winner of Alaska Thunderfuck’s Drag Queen of the Year Pageant in 2021.
He has been featured in The New York Times, national campaigns for Youtube, and Vogue Brasil as well as pride campaigns with Skittles, Smirnoff and Taco Bell. Most recently, Tenderoni has been nominated for a Queerty Award in the Drag Royalty category.
Kevin Aviance
Kevin Aviance: Towering, Black, and Bald—the drag icon who conquered the ’90s gay dance scene and continues to revolutionize the cultural landscape today. Inspired by avant-garde legends like Grace Jones, Boy George, and David Bowie, Kevin rose from the basements of Richmond, Virginia, mastering music, dance, and theater with a vision that would soon shake the world.
After joining the iconic House of Aviance in Washington, DC, Kevin took New York City nightlife by storm—owning the stages of legendary clubs like Sound Factory, Arena, Twilo, and Roxy. With unforgettable tracks like “Cunty,” “Rhythm Is My Bitch,” “Alive,” and “Give It Up,” Kevin earned two #1 dance hits and collaborated with top-tier DJs and producers. His magnetic presence landed him onstage with icons such as Whitney Houston, Cher, and Madonna, while also shining on screen in acclaimed film roles.
Kevin’s discography speaks volumes—his albums Box of Chocolates, Entity, and Raw have all received critical acclaim and earned cult status within the dance music and queer nightlife worlds. These projects not only showcased his vocal prowess but cemented his position as a visionary in the genre.
More than just a performer, Kevin Aviance is a true LGBTQIA+ revolutionary. He has received Lifetime Achievement Awards from multiple organizations in recognition of his decades-long impact on music, fashion, nightlife, and queer visibility. He’s also been named one of Billboard Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential Dance Artists of All Time.
Kevin is a sought-after keynote speaker at leading universities like Yale and Brown, where he shares his journey, cultural insights, and hard-earned wisdom on identity, creativity, and survival as a queer artist of color.
His positive influence on humanity has been recognized by none other than Beyoncé, who spotlighted his iconic track “Cunty” on her Grammy-winning, chart-dominating album Renaissance, sampling it on the standout single “PURE/HONEY.”
And the legend continues: On June 6, 2025, Kevin Aviance will release his most ambitious project to date—HIPPOPOTAMUS—a full-length album and epic body of work that spans a multitude of genres under the electronic dance umbrella. It’s a bold, genre-defying statement that proves once again: Kevin Aviance isn’t just a performer—he’s a movement.
