16 year-old singer/songwriter and guitarist Lindsey Lomis has frequently been labeled an “old soul.” Her original music draws upon jazz and neo soul elements to create a unique pop blend. Shaped by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Allen Stone, and Tori Kelly, she values an organic sound and thoughtful lyrics. Born and based in Nashville, Tennessee, Lindsey takes advantage of the rich live music scene to learn from diverse musical genres and is fortunate to have multiple pro mentors such as Ruby Amanfu. Identifying her passion for music as a young child, she released her first single at the age of 12 and her first EP was released in January 2019. Her single “Meant to Be Broken” was named by the Nashville Scene as a favorite local song of 2018, and PickUp Music has named Lindsey an “Artist to Watch in 2019.” Lindsey delivers powerful and authentic performances with striking vocal tone and control. Aspiring to a long career in music, Lindsey states that she’s happiest while in the studio, performing live, or just escaping to her room to write.
