Julie Eigenberg, began her singing career in NYC, performing with such greats as George Duvivier, Vicki Sue Robinson, Moogy Klingman, the Brecker Bros., Leon Pendarvis , Anthony Jackson, and Will Lee, to name just a few.
Julie co-wrote the song, “Why Not!” with Michel Camilo, and the Manhattan Transfer won the1983 Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal of a Group with their Atlantic Records recording of “Why Not!”.
She went on to record her album,”Love is Starting Now”, produced by David Spinozza. Julie is a soulful interpreter of classic Jazz standards and her own pop/Latin influenced genre or songs. Her music comes from the heart and she sings with a confidence and style that has captured fans from around the world.
