Juana Luna Juana Luna

Juana Luna is a cantora, composer and community artist with roots in Buenos Aires and a home base in Brooklyn. Her musical style navigates traditional Argentinian music as well as world music, boleros and jazz, both as a performer and a teaching artist. Juana is currently working on the release of her next album “Canciones en blanco y negro”, project that has received a grant from the Brooklyn Arts Council. Her vast experience singing and composing music for children has brought her to be part of the team of “Big Note Little Note” at Carnegie Hall. She is also part of “The Lullaby Project”, from the same institution, where she explores the power of this ancient type of song, together with other artists and mothers around the world. Juana frequently collaborates with El Puente in South Williamsburg, a community human rights institution that promotes leadership for peace and justice through the engagement of members in music and different types of arts and activities.
