ABBY AHMAD (Event Organizer, Guitar, Vocals) is a Brooklyn-based singer, songwriter, session musician, award-winning actress, and vocal instructor. In 2006, songs from her debut album The Rearview were featured in the blockbuster film, The Guardian directed by Andy Davis (The Fugitive) and starring Kevin Costner. Her follow-up, Curriculum garnered high praise from critics for its poignancy and poetry, drawing comparisons to both Bob Dylan and Sylvia Plath. Abby’s third studio album will be released next year. In 2013, Abby and husband Mark Marshall founded blues band Fife & Drom, adapting a modern-day mentality to the classic Delta/Chicago-style blues format. In 2014, Fife & Drom was included in the Best of NYC’s Indie Music Scene” by Arena.com and honored by the 13th Annual Independent Music Awards with a nomination for “Best Blues Song”.

MARK MARSHALL (Musical Director, Guitar) is a Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, session musician, composer, and instructor. His distinctive approach to performance and arrangement has made him a fixture in national music scene, where he has performed with many great artists including Levon Helm, Goldspot, Jenna Nicholls, Nation Beat, Nicole Parker, Peking Duk and others. Mark has worked on a variety of commercial projects, including national ad campaigns, video game soundtracks and film scores. He also contributes to The Pro Audio Files sharing wisdom on producing, performing and engineering records and is the author of “Practice Makes Progress” a book that revolutionizes music theory. Mark co-founded blues band Fife & Drom with his wife Abby Ahmad. Their sophomore album will be released in 2016.

ADAM MINKOFF (Bass, Vocals) is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, side man, session musician and NY native. His arrangement/performance of Stravinsky’s “The Rite of Spring” for 8 piece jazz/rock combo has garnered serious attention. A studio recording of the work is set for release in 2016. He has performed for 3 consecutive years with the Larceny Chamber Orchestra for A Tribute to Portishead at LPR. Adam currently tours with renowned blues-rocker Doyle Bramhall II as well as performing with numerous artists and songwriters throughout NYC.

 
BRITTANY ANJOU (Keys, Vocals) is a pianist, vibraphonist, improviser, and composer based in NYC. She currently composes, arranges and leads the Brittany Anjou Trio, as well as Brittany Anjou’s BEWAA (chamber jazz inspired by Ghanaian xylophone). In 2013, she founded the Larceny Chamber Orchestra for modern and experimental music and has produced A Tribute to Portishead for the past 3 years at LPR. She has worked as a session musician, performer, or copyist with many artists including The Shaggs, the Dot Wiggin Band, Elysian Fields, Sondre Lerche, Bernard Woma, Joe McGinty, David Wolfert, and many others.

SARAH GOLDSTONE (Keys) is a pianist, keyboardist, vocalist, violinist, and composer based in Brooklyn, NY. She holds degrees from Boston University (philosophy, musicology) and Mannes The New School for Music (piano performance). She currently performs, records, and tours with a wide variety of musicians including Alex Winston, Rocket & The Ghost, and Matt Sucich. While at home and on the road, Sarah scores music for film and TV. Drawing from her classical training, her work contains lush string orchestrations, modern electronic sounds, and inventive song writing.

YUVAL LION (Drums) has toured and recorded with some of the world’s most distinguished rock, pop, R&B and jazz artists including Chrissie Hynde, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Trixie Whitley, Meshell Ndgeocello, Marc Ribot and John Zorn. Lion tours internationally with acclaimed singer/songwriter Martha Wainwright with whom he recently appeared on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He currently plays with New York-based band Cibo Matto. In addition to worldwide tours, Lion maintains a high profile in NYC’s live and studio scene.
