Violinist and Producer Chiara Fasi breathes new life into traditional live string performances.  Through a unique blend of Classical, Jazz, R&B, Hip-Hop and Electronic Music, she leaves the audience with experience they will never forget.  She began playing violin at the age of 11 and graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. While in Florida she performed with local classical groups including the Hollywood Orchestra, Miami Symphony and Boca Philharmonic. She has shared the stage with notable artists such as  Solange, Lauryn Hill,  The Roots, Jay-Z & Mary J Blige on the “Heart Of The City Tour”, Jasmine Sullivan, John Legend, Kanye West, Chaka Kahn, Usher, Tyler the Creator, Uchi Kalis, Thalia, Kim Burrell, Miri-Ben Ari, opened for Talib Kweli, and performed at numerous venues including Carnegie Hall, The Schomberg Center for African American Studies, Radio City Music Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center and regional orchestras including the Brooklyn Orchestra and Brooklyn Metro Chamber Orchestra. An accomplished composer and producer she recently worked on string arrangements for the short indie film “Moves We Make” based on the short story by J.M. Benjamin and is currently producing for string arrangements for the grammy award winning Bad Boy producer Tony Dofat.
