NYC-based, LA-bred songwriter Julian Cubillos, who is celebrating his third studio album Evil with a release show this Saturday, April 4 at LPR, recently shared a track from the new record. Check out “The Leaving”:
 

 
On Saturday Cubillos will be joined by a number of acts associated with the Tiny Montgomery, the NYC label releasing Evil: the 12-piece instrumental drone-pop orchestra Tom Csatari Band; the Americana singer/songwriter Joanna Sternberg (playing Elizabeth-Cotton-infused contemporary love songs); the Detroit-bred pop/soul maestro Matthew Dean Marsh; and the singer/songwriter (and esteemed multi-reedist) Levon Henry.
