Get stoked now for the upcoming festival celebrating some of the lesser-known musical genres from Brazil. Expect to scoop up a taste of the country’s rich audio creativity by way of Choro, Bossa Nova, Tropicalia, Clube da Esquina, and more at Brazilian Explorative Music 2013.
Songwriter/guitarist Pedro Moraes curated the bill, featuring himself, Mozik, Gabriel Santiago, Ivo Senra Trio, Elissa Cassini, and Sergio Krakowski Trio. Besides lining up a killer show, NPR Music recently included Moraes on their 10 Artists You Should Have Known In 2012. So even if you don’t trust our word on the impending awesome of this concert, you’ve gotta trust those soothing voices and brilliant minds at National Public Radio. Right?
Brazilian Explorative Music 2013 goes down Monday, January 13. Find more info on the show and how to get tickets right here.
