Amanda and Jack Palmer were separated when Amanda was less than a year old. You Got Me Singing, their upcoming album, has proved to be the ultimate healing process between father and daughter. The record is devoted to covers that the two have loved over the years, including songs by Sinéad O’Connor, Leonard Cohen, and Kimya Dawson, to name a few, as well as “Glacier,” their version of John Grant’s 2013 track.
