Jo Firestone is a Brooklyn-based comedian whose work can be seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Joe Pera Talks With You, The Chris Gethard Show, and heard on Earwolf and WFMU. Her half hour special aired on Comedy Central in 2016, and her album, “The Hits” is available now on Comedy Central Records. Jeff Simmermon
Jeff Simmermon is a storyteller, standup comic, and the producer/performer behind ‘And I Am Not Lying,’ a variety show that combines stand-up, storytelling, burlesque, sideshow and music on the second Friday of every month at UCB East. He has won multiple Moth StorySLAMS, including a GrandSLAM in March of 2014. He currently teaches storytelling at QED in Astoria, as well as through the UCB TourCo. His stories have appeared on This American Life, The Moth‘s podcast, and in written form on The Paris Review Daily.

Rob Penty
Rob Penty is an improviser, writer, and storyteller. He has performed in storytelling shows all over New York City, including the Moth StorySLAM, and was recently featured on the RISK! podcast. Last fall, he put up his own storytelling show Things I Don’t Like About Myself at the Magnet Theater where he is also on the house improv team The Wrath.

Jean Le Bec
Born and Bred in Brooklyn, Jean’s been telling stories her entire life. She told her first story at 4 years old but it was called lying! Jean has performed at RISK!, appeared on the RISK! podcast multiple times, Two Truths And A Lie, Big City Stories, Tell It Brooklyn and the NY Story Exchange.

Robin Gelfenbien is the self-proclaimed Ambassador of Fun and an NYC-based storyteller, writer and comedian. She’s a three-time Moth Story SLAM winner who has performed on PBS, RISK!, Mortified and countless other shows. She’s also shared the stage with Hannah Gadsby, Trevor Noah and more.
Robin is the Creator and Host of the storytelling series and podcast, “Yum’s the Word,” that features her homemade ice cream cakes. The show has been named a New York Times and Time Out New York Critic’s Pick. Guests have included Tim Gunn, Jason Biggs, Joy Behar and stars from “Orange is the New Black.”
New York Magazine called her solo show, “My Salvation Has a First Name: A Wienermobile Journey,” “the highlight of the Fringe” and Time Out New York gave it 4 stars.
She’s performed her original comedy songs at The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center and on Sirius Radio. She’s also been featured in Marie Claire magazine and she starred in a commercial directed by Spike Lee.
