Born in Brooklyn to a family that has musical roots on both sides, it was inevitable that Leah Johnson would soon find her own path in music. Sitting in on her father’s rehearsals as a toddler drumming beats on the table or plinking sounds on the piano, it soon became apparent that she would eventually command the microphone, whether on stage or in the recording studio. Ms. Johnson has worked with artists such as Jon B. and Freedom Williams of C&C Music Factory. Her golden vocals have been heard at countless venues, including the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and the Blue Note in New York City.
