It’s not every day that LPR gets to welcome a young talent like violinist Ray Chen. The BBC, talking about his debut album Virtuoso, said “It’s violin playing of the highest order. It’s not just Ray Chen’s superb technique, but his sense of pacing in the music that is so striking: there’s always time for the music to unfold, even at speed.” On February 7th we’re happy to present Ray Chen who will be performing a program that includes works by Bach, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, and Saint Saëns.
To celebrate this concert we’re going to give away an autographed copy of his new album Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn, violin concertos as well as a pair of tickets to the concert. How do you win? Tell us why you’re excited to see this show in the comments section below, or you can send us your reason via Twitter. We’ll pick a winner on Monday. While you wait for us to pick a winner take a listen to Chen performing some Brahms below.posted by dustin
