Brooklyn’s Dead Leaf Echo is a music/art collective that released their debut LP “Thought and Language” in 2013. The album had clear 4AD influences as it was mixed by John Fryer (Lush, NIN, Depeche Mode) with artwork by the label’s legendary designer V23’s Vaughan Oliver (Pixies, Bauhaus). Their latest EP “true.deep.sleeper” released in 2014 saw them working with Monte Vallier (Weekend, Wax Idols) They are in the middle of recording their 2nd LP again w/ Vallier and also contributions from Guy Fixsen (MBV, WIRE) + Jorge Elbreht (Ariel Pink, No Joy) at Mexican Summer’s studio in Greenpoint. A 7″ single was released in September followed by a North American tour and appearance at Desert Stars Festival in Joshua Tree w/ Swervedriver and The Lemonheads
DLE did multiple national tours over the past 2 years resulting in over 160 shows and taking them to SXSW, CMJ, NXNE, Northside Festival and Europe. They’ve opened for Patti Smith and supported The Ocean Blue and the Warlocks on the east coast and on the West Coast playing with Beach Fossils and the Telescopes at The Echo. They also headlined the 20th anniversary of the indie gathering Beautiful Noise festival held in the desert of Arizona, along with Captured Tracks band Half String.
They’ve constantly topped the CMJ Top 20 indie charts. They’ve played twice live on KEXP’s John in the Morning and were recently featured as song of the day and are on regular rotation on that station as well as on Nic Harcourt’s Morning Becomes Electric on KCSN.
Previous tours and SXSW bills included The Wedding Present, A Place to Bury Strangers & Trail Of the Dead. They festivaled in 2011 with the Psychedelic Furs as well as played sold out shows in 2010 opening for the reunited Chapterhouse and Ulrich Schnauss.

+/- (PLUS/MINUS) is the band started by Versus members James Baluyut and Patrick Ramos in 2001. Chris Deaner joined them shortly thereafter. They still plan to conquer the world with their electronic dreamy pop meets teeth crunching rock. They hail from a city in New York state aptly named New York.
Infinity Girl
Forged in the crucible of the Boston underground and now based in Brooklyn, New York, Infinity Girl is a four-piece American guitar band. The act emerged in 2012 with a startlingly whole and reverent shoegaze sound on its debut full length, Stop Being On My Side, a set that was equal parts haunting melody and ear-bleeding power. An EP, Just Like Lovers, followed in late 2012 and again propounded Infinity Girl‘s refreshing proclivity for bending classic song forms toward its will to experiment. More recently the band has taken its music to a darker and more dynamic place informed by both classic post-punk sounds and an increasingly formidable ability to meld noise and hooks in exciting, surprising ways. The band released its latest full length Harm in August 2015 on Topshelf Records.
