St. Vincent
St. Vincent Official Website
Musician and songwriter Annie Clark-aka St. Vincent-is one of the most distinct voices and original guitarists of her generation. Her recent album, the self-titled St. Vincent, won her “album of the year” designations from the NME, the Guardian, and Entertainment Weekly and the Grammy award for Best Alternative Album. An incredible live performer, Clark has been heralded as “the first truly 21st century guitar hero” by Guitar World magazine, and is constantly pushing the boundaries of today’s musical landscape.
Elysian Fields
The respected songwriting team of Jennifer Charles and Oren Bloedow mark thirty years on this night of their group Elysian Fields. Over the years the group has cultivated a devoted following worldwide with their moody, intimate sound, which defies easy categorization, weaving sultry vocals, poetic lyricism, and sensitive arrangements into a unique and enduring body of work.
At the heart of Elysian Fields is the chemistry between Charles and Bloedow, both accomplished musicians with eclectic backgrounds. Charles’s poetry and composition—literary and emotionally precise, sung with haunting sensuality—are paired with Bloedow’s textured guitar work, which can shimmer, sting, or whisper depending on the song’s demands. Their partnership has sustained the group through decades of shifting musical landscapes, maintaining a core aesthetic while exploring new sonic territories.
Lyrically, the band traffics in themes of love, longing, mortality, and mysticism. There’s often a cinematic quality to their songwriting—imagery-rich and emotionally immersive, as if each track were a scene in an unfolding dream. The many albums they have released (over thirteen), from Bleed Your Cedar (1996), to What The Thunder Said (2024) showcase their evolution.
Elysian Fields has collaborated with a wide array of musicians, from jazz luminaries to avant-garde figures. They will be appearing with some of their most treasured colleagues from the band’s rich history tonight. Expect special guests and highlights from the band’s vast catalogue of songs.
“Jennifer Charles and Oren Bloedow elevate the dialogue between voice and guitar to heights fascinating and haunting, creating exquisite works of art.” – Magic Magazine
“Oren Bloedow’s infinite instrumental palette, as loose as it is organic, is matched by Jennifer Charles’s often imitated but never equalled vocals…And we never tire of this precious alchemy…And we bow our heads in admiration, because to succeed again and again in making this singular flame travel, while never losing itself in mainstream temptations, is admirable…These two adventurers are above all true and great musicians.” – -Le Village Pop
Martha Wainwright

With an undeniable voice and an arsenal of powerful songs, Martha Wainwright is a beguiling performer and a refreshingly different force in music. Martha began building a buzz with her well-noted EPs, prior to her 2005 critically and commercially successful debut LP, ‘Martha Wainwright’. London’s Sunday Times included the song, “Bloody Mother Fucking Asshole” in their songs of the year and Rolling Stone called it “a blistering prelude to her debut album.”
In 2008, Martha followed with her sophomore album, ‘I Know You’re Married But I’ve Got Feelings Too’, which showed her great musical maturity and talent as a songwriter. In 2010 she toured the world promoting her third album, ‘San Fusils, Ni Souliers A Paris: Martha Wainwright’s Piaf Album’. This extraordinary album, an homage to the great Edith Piaf, was received with glowing reviews, leaving audiences stunned by Martha’s incredible range and talent. Her last album, ‘Come Home To Mama’, produced by Cibo Matto’s Yuka Honda, was heralded by Mojo Magazine as a “substantial and brilliantly sung career best.”
Martha’s latest album, ‘Goodnight City’ returns to the rawness of her first release and includes songs by Martha, as well as songs written by notable artists to highlight her incredible voice. These songs are written by her friends and other great songwriters such as Beth Orton, Glen Hansard, her brother Rufus Wainwright, Michael Ondaatje, and Merrill Garbus of tUnE-yArDs.
‘Goodnight City’ was produced by Thomas Bartlett (Sufjan Stevens, Glen Hansard) and Brad Albetta (Angus and Julia Stone, Teddy Thompson) to create a poignant album that covers a dynamic spectrum in a fluid and cohesive manner. The album was recorded in Montreal, where Martha and her family have resided for the last couple of years. ‘Goodnight City’ is available now worldwide.
Martha was born in New York City to folk legends Kate McGarrigle and Loudon Wainwright III. She is Rufus Wainwright’s sister and they often collaborate in shows and on records. Martha is also half-sister to Lucy Wainwright Roche and they recently made a record together, ‘Songs In The Dark’ to much acclaim including a JUNO nomination. Martha tours her music around the world to sold out audiences on several continents. She has spent time on the silver screen playing characters in Martin Scorsese’s “Aviator” and more recently in the HBO special “Olive Kitteridge” alongside Frances McDormand. Currently Martha is finishing up a book titled “Stories I Might Regret Telling You” which, like her songs, is a window into her life without artifice, pretension or fakery.

Throughout the early 2000s, Wasser went on to collaborate with artists including John Cale, Lou Reed, David Sylvian, Antony & The Johnsons, and Rufus Wainwright, several of whom went on to be featured on her own records. Tonight Wasser will play songs from her upcoming unreleased album and is joined by Parker Kindred, Ben Perowsky, Oren Bloedow, Jared Samuel and Thomas Bartlett.
