Atlanta based AfroJazz/FolkSoul Singer~Songwriter, TOSINGER, is originally from Nigeria, via London, UK. She has been singing for more than two decades at festivals, intimate music spaces, concerts, churches, events and in musical theatre. Tosinger is unique in her artistic compositions with a musical flow that’s soulful and ambient while reflecting her African roots as she sometimes incorporates traditional folklore on a contemporary musical platform. Her vocal essence has been described as soothing and uplifting and her voice displays a simple conveyance of heartfelt richness. During her years in London, UK;  her theatrical background was developed while as a member of the vocal ensemble of select Musical Broadway shows including ‘GodSpell’ and ‘Rent’, she also played a leadership role in her University of Nottingham’s Revival Gospel Choir.  An eclectic artist with a warm personality and matchless passion, she particularly loves Folk, Afro music, Classics, World music, Soul & Jazz and names them as genres that inspire her musical creativity. She also names legendary artistes such as Miriam Makeba, Nina Simone, Whitney Houston, Angelique Kidjo, Ella Fitzgerald, Sade Adu, Celine Dion and Tracy Chapman among others as influences.

She released ‘FINALLY’ an EP of 6 tracks in 2012 and in 2013 digitally published – The ‘AfroSpire’ Demo. Tosinger independently released her original full studio debut album titled ‘Organically Singing’ in 2015 which is currently available on all major digital outlets including iTunes, Spotify and Amazon. A Women4Africa UK ‘International Woman of the year’ awardee and a recent opening act for the legendary AfroJazz Musician, Lagbaja at the notable Variety Playhouse, Atlanta; Tosinger is very much on her way to warming her music into the hearts of lovers of organic music globally. Apart from being a singer, Tosinger is also a storyteller and an artpreneur, she owns/manages an indie intimate music space – ‘Terra Cotta’ in Marietta, Georgia and also co-hosts the ‘African Experience Worldwide show’ on WRFG 89.3 FM Atlanta. She is a children’s folktale storyteller and shares stories on her YouTube channel – “Tales With Tosinger”. When she is not singing or promoting an event or storytelling, she does freelance copywriting/scriptwriting and works on movie sets as a feature or film extra when needed.
