CLANG QUARTET is the 20-plus year, one-man performance by Scotty Irving, which is a mixture of Harsh Noise, Drums & Percussion, and Performance Art. All the props used during the show are also sound instruments, including any mask or other item. Irving has taken the show all across the United States and Japan, received accolades from publications such as Modern Drummer Magazine, and performed with artists as varied as Makoto Kawabata and Acid Mothers Temple and Steve Mackay of Iggy Pop & The Stooges, and has performed at many Noise festivals such as Ende Tymes, International Noise Conference, and Voice Of The Valley Noise Rally.
