Daniel Lanois and Tinariwen are playing Brooklyn Masonic Temple tonight (along with The Antlers and special guest Lonnie Holley), and we can’t think of a better way to prep for the show than watching this video of Lanois remixing Tinariwen’s “Adounia Ti Chidjret” while riding in the back of a ’72 Caddy.

The video premiered a few days ago on Noisey, who had this to say about the remix and tonight’s show:
 
“Both the song and video are in anticipation of the much anticipated live collaboration among Tinariwen, Lanois, and The Antlers. The event is called “Ant-Thesis” and will be a celebration of “body music” and the immediate and visceral magic that can happen when artists at their best, even if supposedly from disparate genres, get together.”
