High Time is a Brooklyn-born Grateful Dead tribute band celebrated for their unique reinterpretation of the Dead’s early catalog. In 2024, High Time members Michael O’Neill and Kevin Uehlinger started an acoustic event series at LPR known as “Season of What.” The group not only performed favorites from the Grateful Dead’s classic acoustic songbook such as Jack-A-Roe and Dire Wolf, but also distinguished itself by channeling the intensity of more expansive works like The Eleven and Terrapin Station in an acoustic format, transforming expectations while preserving the music’s spirit of exploration.

For this event, tables will be cleared to make room on the dance floor for an electric set from Shakedown Citi, a fresh new force on the jam band scene, born in the heart of a Grateful Dead parking lot at Citi Field in 2023. Rather than imitating the Dead, Shakedown Citi channels their spirit – creating spontaneous, soulful performances that feel alive, adventurous and totally in the moment. Each set is a journey, full of unexpected twists, deep grooves and musical conversation that pulls even the most skeptical listener into the vibe.
