With her second album on XXIM Records, The Light (2023), Evensen expanded her sonic palette, introducing choral

arrangements, subtle electronics, and — for the first time — her own voice. It’s a powerful meditation on healing and resilience, written in the aftermath of personal trials, global uncertainty, and her growing concern for the environmental fragility of her homeland.
