Heartworm and LPR present: For the first time ever, an immersive live performance of Cold Cave’s Cremations era material. Misanthropic synth hymnals and icy electronic glory, once described as Whitehouse meets The Cure.

Acclaimed artist and singer Rosa Anschütz performs material from her epic album Sabbatical, one year after its release.

These live rituals take place September 11 in Los Angeles at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and September 19 in Brooklyn at First Unitarian Church.

Cold Cave

Cold Cave has become synonymous with the modern-day resurgence of darkwave and synthpop. Since 2007, Wesley Eisold’s poetic lyrics and rich baritone combined with Amy Lee’s conceptual artistic vision has propelled Cold Cave to perform at world class museums The Getty and The Guggenheim, and tours alongside legends Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Cult and Ministry among others. Marked by a pitch black aesthetic, crafting melodic synths-capes with songs celebrating the contradictory beauty of the human condition, they are cerebral and savage yet sweet and seductive. Based in Los Angeles, their efforts stretch across mediums into their book publishing company and record label, Heartworm Press, and bookstore The Daily Planet, where they have released the poetry of Alan Vega (Suicide), Genesis P-Orridge (Throbbing Gristle & Psychic TV) and Mark Lanegan. From their primordial noise industrial beginnings to their shimmering signature synth-pop, Cold Cave have established themselves as long-running luminaries of the underground.

Rosa Anschütz

She has released three LPs: Votive (2020), accompanied by nine clay sculptures inspired by votive offerings; Goldener Strom (2022), staged at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin; and Interior (2024), featuring nine tracks, each accompanied by a sequined landscape hand-stitched by Anschütz.

Anschütz released her fourth album, Sabbatical, on September 26th, 2025, with Heartworm Press.
