Just like that, the folks at Other People announced yesterday that electronic power-duo, DARKSIDE, will be calling it a quits (for now) in the Fall. Darkside, comprised of Nicolas Jaar & Dave Harrington, is a sinister blend of dark, sultry, & psychedelic sensibilities: it’s the type of music you want to walk down a dark alleyway to.
 
Although sad about their short time here with us, we are happy to be hosting DARKSIDE’s last show ever at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple on Friday, September 12th. They announced their departure & it all seemed kind of sudden, but they did not leave us without a parting gift! The duo shared two tracks that did not make the final track-listing of their debut LP, Psychic, which was released last year.
