Elliott Carter is undoubtedly one of America’s greatest composers. Carter composed right up until his death in early November at age 103. (Read Allan Kozinn’s obit in the New York Times.)
 
To honor his legacy Ensemble LPR, Fred Sherry, Ursula Oppens, and many others gathered at (Le) Poisson Rouge on January 13th for a tribute concert in his honor.
