Donate Your Used Musical Instruments to the WQXR Instrument Drive

Got any spare musical instruments lying around?

Consider donating them to the WQXR Instrument Drive, which runs through Monday, April 7. Here are more details from our friends at WQXR, along with a video showing how your donation could help change a student’s life:

“Music has the power to change lives. Students who study music in school have higher grades, self-esteem and are more likely to graduate. That’s why we’re launching the WQXR Musical Instrument Drive. Between March 28 and April 7, donate your gently used musical instruments at drop off locations in New York City, Northern New Jersey, Westchester and Long Island. Working with our partners Sam Ash Music Stores and the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, WQXR will repair the instruments and distribute them to deserving music programs in New York City Public Schools.”
