Join comedian and host Chris Duffy for a night of NYC’s best performers sharing their work and the things they love. Three unique acts each take the stage and perform their favorite songs, stories, and jokes. Then they give a few lucky audience members a copy to take home for themselves, Oprah-style.
Guaranteed to be the most positive way to spend a Tuesday night in NYC.

Evan Altshuler
Evan Altshuler A self-taught guitarist, singer and pianist, Evan released his first album of original music in November of 2005. ‘Shine All the Time’ was a bestseller on Aware Records’ Awarestore.com, and its original pressing sold over 500 copies. He has performed across the United States both headlining and supporting other artists like Ari Hest, Matt Nathanson, and (proudly,) The Dave Matthews Tribute Band.
Evan can be seen improvising, acting and performing music regularly in New York City.
Brian Frange
Brian Frange was selected as a New Face in the prestigious 2014 Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival and chosen by TimeOutNY as one of the top 10 comedians from New York at the festival where he was described as a ‘sketch double-threat who’s strong, straightforward material and well-crafted jokes retain universal appeal.’ He has also performed in many other festivals throughout the country including: Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival and San Francisco Sketch Fest. He has a conspiracy theory – comedy podcast calledThe Unbelievable Podcast, is one-half of the sketch comedy group Frange & Stern, is the creator of Fake Film Sequels, and recently debuted his one-person sketch show “I’m From Long Island”.

Elna Baker
Elna Baker is a writer & performer of humorous stories. Her stories have been featured on radio programs such as This American Life, Prairie Home Companion, The Moth, BBC Radio 4 & Studio 360. Elna is the author of The New York Regional Mormon Singles Halloween Dance: A Memoir.

host Chris Duffy
Chris Duffy is a standup comedian and improviser who has performed at colleges and festivals throughout the country (including SF Sketchfest, Caltech, Brown, Harvard, the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival, the Cambridge Science Festival, and more). Chris is also the creator and host of You’re the Expert, a live show and public radio program on WBUR where three comedians try to guess what a professor studies all day. Don’t confuse him with professional bodybuilder Chris Duffy. While they share identical names and physiques, they are different people.
In addition to comedy, Chris is a writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, Boston Globe, Makeshift Magazine, and Wag’s Revue. Chris, a former fifth grade teacher, leads workshops at schools and universities on using humor in the classroom and consults on various projects at the intersection of comedy, education, and communication.
