Join CHERYL (artist collective) on Halloween night for a celebration of celebrity failure, resurrected goth super heroes, birds, and public transportation wormholes. No, this is not a Sheryl Crow concert.
Need costume inspiration? Think John Poppers, Big Bird’s moment of angst, bus terminal transformations, Lamps Armstrong, blood transfusions, Woodstock ‘94/’99, and boring hair.
So check out the Halloween parade, and then head around the corner to (Le) Poisson Rouge it’s time for CHERYL: CROW, the ultimate Halloween dance party.

A: CHERYL is an artist collective (founded 2008, Brooklyn) famed in NYC and abroad for staging overthetop events, performances, and art installations, all fueled by the belief that anyone can be creative, that art doesn’t have to be expensive, and that having a sense of humor is sexy.
Q: Is this a gay party?
A: CHERYL is for everyone queer, gay, straight, undecided, none of the above, whatever! All are invited and welcomed, regardless of orientation. Our crowd is completely mixed.

JD Samson is best known as leader of the band MEN and for being one-third of the electronic-feminist-punk band and performance project, Le Tigre. For more than a decade JD’s career as a musician, producer and DJ has landed her at the intersection of the music, art, activism, and fashion. During that time she has toured the world, produced songs for Grammy award winning artists, written for publications such as Huffington Post, Talkhouse, and Creative Time Review, created multi media artwork, hosted documentary programs for VICE, acted, modeled, and engaged in direct support with a wide-range of progressive social and political causes.
