Celebrate the summer with this sizzling, splashy and bawdy burlesque revue featuring ANGIE PONTANI, ALBERT CADABRA, THE MAINE ATTRACTION, THE WORLD FAMOUS PONTANI SISTERS, HELEN PONTANI, THE BEACH BALL DANCERS, TANSY and special guests as the cast don’s their polka dot bikinis and grass skirts in this nod to classic 50’s and 60’s beach party films. From tiki to twist party to beach blanket bingo, you’ll want to wear your sun screen to this red hot burlesque revue!

TABLE SEATING POLICY
Table seating for all seated shows is reserved exclusively for ticket holders who purchase “Table Seating” tickets. By purchasing a “Table Seating” ticket you agree to also purchase a minimum of two food and/or beverage items per person. Table seating is first come, first seated. Please arrive early for the best choice of available seats. Seating begins when doors open. Tables are communal so you may be seated with other patrons. We do not take table reservations.
 
A standing room area is available by the bar for all guests who purchase “Standing Room” tickets. Food and beverage can be purchased at the bar but there is no minimum purchase required in this area.

Burlesque Queen, Angie Pontani, “The Italian Stallionette,” is one of few involved in the ecdysiast arts who shimmys and shakes on stages around the world, as well as carries her art into other fields and genres, including film and television. A child of New York and a key player in establishing NYC’s burlesque scene, this bump-n-grind bombshell has spread the gospel of burlesque across the globe for over a decade. The New Yorker calls Angie, “first rate, the perfect centerpiece!” and rightfully so, since her signature acts and productions all set standards of style and class.
 
This international superstar’s ability to mix glamour of yester-years with contemporary sensibility has earned her burlesque’s most prestigious award:“Queen of Burlesque, Miss Exotic World 2008.” Aside from its substantial part in Angie achieving burlesque’s highest Angie has toured multiple runs in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.  She has headlined the largest burlesque festivals in the world, including New YorkDallas, Milan, Rome and Helsinki. In 2009 she was named “Best International Touring Artist,” by The Naked City/Alternative Media Group of Australia.
 
Angie’s repertoire and show curating skills are frequently sought by discriminating clients including Lady GaGaCampari, Esquire Magazine, Dos Equis, The Fox 5 Superbowl Party, Guggenheim, Donatella Versace and more. She worked exclusively with Hendricks Gin to create her glass bathtub act, which was the featured entertainment at many of their events throughout the U.S. In the midst of her wake, Angie has wowed celebrity fans the likes of Sting, Anthony Kiedas, Hillary Duff, The Strokes, Adrianna Lima, and Hugh Hefner.
 
As “New York’s Burlesque Queen” (ToscanaTV.com), Angie has appeared multiple times on the Conan O’ Brien Show and Gossip GirlShe was also featured in other New York productions: Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, MTV’s The 50 Cent ProjectGood Morning America, and The Today ShowAngie also appeared on The List (Canada), Lady Burlesque (IT), Burlesque Mania (IT), Good Day New Zealand (NZ), and Nightline (NZ). On October 24th, Angie will be featured in the Lady Gagaand Tony Bennett television special for PBS.
 
Always reaching for new fields and genres, Angie had a featured role in Michael Imerioli’s directorial debut film, The Hungry Ghost, and was also featured in the Italian television series, Lady Burlesque and The Poor Man’s Follies, an Italian film created for MTV. She was also a part of an ad campaign for Peter Werth (UK), X-Rite Photosystem with Brian Smith (USA), and Marlboro (worldwide). Aside from having been photographed by renowned photographer Ellen Von Unwerth for L’uomo Vogue, she has graced the covers and pages of many magazines including Pin CurlPage SixGlamourSpanish GQJava’s Bachelor Pad and countless others. Angie even made a cameo in Eric Powell’s comic, The Goon (#36).

Helen Pontani

After making her way to the Big Apple to fullfill her dreams of studying at the Alvin Ailey School of Dance and performing in modern dance companies, Helen decided it was time for false eyelashes and rhinestones. The World Famous Pontani Sisters was born. Since its inception, the trio of temptresses has changed the face of burlesque as we know it. Helen has dazzled audiences from the gritty big top of Coney Island to the glittering lights of Hollywood, known as the tapping tornado in a two year run in the off Broadway show This is Burlesque, dozens of national and international tours while making frequent appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Gossip Girl, Queer Eye, MTV, and VH1 among others. Appearing in showstopping performances that have earned critical acclaim from the Times, Post, Daily News, Village Voice, and Time Out magazine. Helen has become a tap dance sensation in the world of burlesque. With her flirtatious tapping, fabulous show girl costumes dripping in rhinestones and feathers. She is sure to bedazzle you!

The Maine Attraction

Maine captivates audiences every time she hits the stage. Coined the “Triple Threat of Burlesque” (singer/actress/dancer) she’s performed domestically and internationally, from MGM Grand*s Studio 54 in Las VegasLe Bus Palladium (Paris)Buddha Bar (Beirut, Lebanon) to Dragon-i in Hong Kong. Energetic, sensual, and wildly charismatic, her uninhibited rhythmic style and sense of humor blend an ensemble of samba, belly dance, African, improvisation and contortion, and pole dancing into a movement she’s defined as *Burlesque Fusion.*
 
Maine, known on stage as “The Maine Attraction”, landed her first professional dance job as a teenager for MTV’s Fight For Your Rights Campaign.  Since then, she has performed alongside a number of greats including legendsJames Brown and Lionel Richie, pop sensations Jessica Simpson andPharrell Williams, and burlesque divas Dita Von Tease and Gentry de Paris. Her tenacious spirit has helped her become one of New York’s most celebrated burlesque performers. A muse for numerous visual artists, she has collaborated with conceptual photographer LaToya Ruby Frazier and multimedia extraordinaire, Matthew Barney, the infamous DJ Tiesto and performed for exclusive fashion events hosted by icons Patricia Field andMarc Jacobs. Her ability to transform herself into a myriad of characters gives her the opportunity to play roles that are left of center, and fuse the elements of sex, comedy and drama effortlessly.
 
Most recently known for playing herself in Focus Features’ highly anticipated“Pariah”, Maine has also played leading roles in indie features: “Miente” (Cannes, Havana Film Festival), comedy-horror sensation “Nefertitty”, and Lower East Side coming-of-age drama, “My Normal”.  Her role in “Million In The Mirror”, a PSA for breast cancer research, recently won The Viewers Choice Award on the Lifetime Channel. She was scouted as a featured burlesque performer for an episode on this season of Royal Pains (USA Network). This Fall she can be seen in the PBS Special with Lada Gaga andTony Bennett as a featured dancer. Maine Anders evokes the type of naughty but cheeky glamour in her burlesque, stage and film performances that garner the well deserved comparison to the extraordinary Josephine Baker. Commonly described as “The Elizabeth Taylor of Burlesque,” this vintage vixen teases with both humor and a sophisticated sensuality. Radiating a joyous effervescence whilst channeling the sublime glamour of another era, Tansy is admired for her classic energy and joie de vivre.

Albert Cadabra

The Great Deceiver is a professional, award-winning, comedy sideshow magician who delivers powerful, amazing and devilishly wild magic. Albert pushes and twists the boundaries of the art of magic with unique performances including; eating razor blades and a 3’-long balloon, hammering 6” spikes into his face, electrocuting himself with 2,000 volts of electricity and turning his assistant into a gorilla. He makes people and animals appear and vanish at will and escapes from chains, shackles, locked crates and straight jackets—all with the flair, style, class and great sense of humor you would expect from this seasoned, professional magician.
 

Albert has hosted many leading burlesque events, including BURLESQUE-A-PADES, THE NEW YORK BURLESQUE FESTIVAL and THE TEMPEST STORM LAS VEGAS BURLESQUE REVUE. He is also the premiere host for RIPLEYS BELIEVE IT OR NOT in TIMES SQUARE.
