On March 7 Ensemble LPR teamed up with conductor André de Ridder to perform a suite from Jonny Greenwood’s There Will Be Blood score, the US premiere of Bryce Dessner’s Lachrimae, and Béla Bartók’s Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta live at LPR (check out some photos). Now Q2 Music, who joined us in presenting and live streaming the concert, has posted a great audio recording of the evening for your listening pleasure:
 

 
You’re next chance to catch Ensemble LPR in action is right around the corner. They’ll join Brooklyn composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone’s San Fermin to perform the group’s self-titled Downtown Records album San Fermin in its entirety at the BRIC House Ballroom on Friday, March 28th.
