Halloween is almost here, and that means LPR is gearing up for a full week of festivities, including extra spooky editions of The Freedom Party, Bootie NYC, Yum’s The Word and Behind The Groove, frightful music, stories, sweets and trivia, and not one, but TWO amazing Halloween night blowouts.

The fun kicks off Thursday night with THUNDER! DJ Ivan Rodriguez, DJ Herbert Holler, and Omri S. Quire bring the city’s dirtiest rock-n-roll party to The Gallery at LPR.
Also, enjoy a free Magic Hat keg from 10pm until it’s kicked.
Friday, October 25: Freedom Party Halloween Bash

Halloween hits our main space Friday with The Freedom Party’s Annual Halloween Bash.
In addition to resident Freedom DJs Herbert Holler, Cosi and Marc Smooth, this one will feature projections of your favorite horror flicks and a costume contest with dope prizes: First place gets $500, second place snags a free LPR membership, and third place gets bottle service for five people.
Saturday, October 26: Halloween Booootie NYC – A Monster Mashup Spooktacular

Get ready for the spookiest, scariest Bootie NYC ever. There’s no question that resident DJ Lobsterdust, special guest DJ Elocnep from France, and NYC’s Daw-Gun will make Booootie the place to be Saturday night.
The first 100 people in the door will get free limited-edition Halloween Booootie CDs, and at midnight there will be a costume contest with hundreds of dollars in cash prizes (and trick-or-treat goody bags). Compete for Most Spooktacular Bootie in three categories: Best Overall Costume, Best Couple and Sexiest Costume.
Tuesday, October 29: The Big Quiz Thing’s Spooktastical Halloween Trivia-tacular

The Big Quiz Thing is back at LPR Tuesday for the first ever Spooktastical Halloween Trivia-tacular.
Enjoy a trivia-filled preshow cocktail hour with delicious candy, Halloween-themed video and audio puzzles, fantastic prizes from many different sponsors, and even a live magic performance from the The Great Dubini!
Tuesday, October 29: Yum’s The Word presents “I Scream: Stories of Fright”

For this special Halloween edition of Yum’s The Word, which “blends old-fashioned birthday parties with modern-day storytelling,” host Robin Gelfenbien will be joined by Caitlin Brodnick (Glamour, Funny or Die), Michele Carlo (Moth GrandSlam and Moth Mainstage) and Jonathan Braedley Welch (UCB, “Watch Your Mouth” Host).
And there will be treats: a trio of Halloween-themed ice cream cakes, including one made with Ginger Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream and one topped with candy corn!
Tuesday, October 29: Behind The Groove Monster Jam Masquerade Ball

DJ KS 360 and his renowned hip-hop collective Full Circle Productions present this special Halloween masquerade edition of Behind The Groove.
In addition to special guest DJ Evil Dee (of Black Moon, Da Beatminerz), Monster Jam will feature Strafe & The Hard Soul Revue and performances by La Roka “Venus Is Running” and Princess Lockeroo “All Falls Down”.
