You might know Margalit Fox for her peerless New York Times obituaries over the past 14 years. She was previously a staff editor at the Book Review. Dan Wakin has reported on culture and religion here and abroad, served as a deputy editor in the Culture department and is currently deputy editorial director of NYT Global. As if those talents weren’t enough, they also have a passion for classical music and will be sharing it with subscribers from the stage. They will be joined by other members of The Qwerty Ensemble, their band of New York Times journalists, including Laura Chang, deputy editor for The Upshot, William P. Davis, assistant editor for news platforms and Aaron Krolik, interactive news journalist and developer.

Come and enjoy a bit of Brahms and conversation — and if you’re lucky, they might perform their hit “Don’t Bury the Lede.” This event is part of The New York Times Subscriber Events “B-Sides” series, exploring our journalists’ interests and obsessions beyond the newsroom.
