ColemanCollective

ColemanCollective official site

ColemanCollective, a multidisciplinary art company, aims to produce art in various forms. This group features choreographers, dancers, actors, writers, visual artists, cinematographers, musicians, and other creators who seek to share with artists of diverse disciplines and like interests, through PERFORMANCE, EDUCATION and COLLABORATION. The artistic direction is suggested by Cain A. Coleman Jr. and Matthew Perez, while the collaborators they bring on, inevitably bend that vision, to create something dynamically transcultural. Since being founded in June 2016, the Collective has been presented throughout NYC (Gibney Dance, Le Poisson Rouge, and Abrons Arts Center), toured both nationally and internationally, been recognized in press (newspapers, blogs, radio, etc.), and landed a fashion publication in Elle Magazine’s January 2017 issue.

Chazz Giovanni

GypjaQ

GypjaQ is a free-spirited artist who transcends all barriers, genres and expectations. With deep roots in performance art and a wildly eclectic sound, the Harlem-born performer provides his audiences with an eccentric and a wholly engaging experience. Complete with thought-provoking lyrics, strong beats, stellar vocals, high-energy dancing and meaningful moments, a GypjaQ show is more than just a performance; it’s a movement and a state of mind.

GypjaQ attributes his cultural inclusivity and unique perspective to his early upbringing. As he traveled the globe with his mother, an eternal wanderlust, GypjaQ soaked up the customs and sounds of every land he visited. He became enthralled with music at an early age and discovered the violin while under the tutelage of the Harlem School of the Arts (HAS). His training there gave him a deep respect for his craft and helped to develop the burgeoning artist within.

The self-proclaimed King of aNvKai (a-new-k-eye), GypjaQ challenges his audiences to join him on a journey of enlightenment and to identify their truths. aNvKai is the name of a movement created by the performer that promotes acceptance and growth, asking the world to live in the idea that we are all important to one another and who we are is enough. aNvKai challenges us all to stop expecting the least of humanity and to start living up to our most.

GypjaQ will soon release his first album, “aNvkai Genesis.”

Madelin

Madelin official site | Madelin on Facebook | Madelin on Twitter | Madelin on Instagram

Madelin is exploring a world of color through her music. Her influences span genres, making for an ethereal sonic world with elements of pop, indie, electronic and hip hop. She blends her charming introspective lyrics with a healthy dose of tongue and cheek. Her music is light and deep at once. Madelin began singing at a very early age. She learned to play the piano at nine years old and promptly wrote hundreds of songs in her room in Los Angeles. She moved to New York at eighteen to study composition at Purchase College. She evolved into a strong decisive artist. She released her debut EP entitled “Cloud” in 2013. Her new self titled EP is a sampling of her eclectic aesthetic. Made with inventive producers; Dem Jointz, Breakfast N Vegas, and Matt Speno, the Madelin EP is a look through the eyes of a young woman finding herself in New York as an artist and a feminist. Madelin is a self described pop artist/gemini/cat mom/club kid. She knows what she wants to say and she says it in a way you wouldn’t expect. She humbly serves weird pop realness.
