After releasing two ambitious studio albums and relentlessly touring for the last three years, Providence, RI art-pop power trio Arc Iris is ready to unveil its next project to the world: a complete re-imagination of Joni Mitchell’s seminal album Blue. Whereas acoustic guitars and minimal arrangements are some of the hallmarks on Mitchell’s original recording, Arc Iris’ interpretation of the music is bold and modern. The band mixes the sounds of symphonic analogue synths, heavy drum beats, and sampling, while the iconic songs themselves are never swallowed up by the tide of these inventive arrangements.

TABLE SEATING POLICY
Table seating for all seated shows is reserved exclusively for ticket holders who purchase “Table Seating” tickets. By purchasing a “Table Seating” ticket you agree to also purchase a minimum of two food and/or beverage items per person. Table seating is first come, first seated. Please arrive early for the best choice of available seats. Seating begins when doors open. Tables are communal so you may be seated with other patrons. We do not take table reservations.
A standing room area is available by the bar for all guests who purchase “Standing Room” tickets. Food and beverage can be purchased at the bar but there is no minimum purchase required in this area.
All tickets sales are final. No refund or credits.

Providence, RI experimental pop trio Arc Iris fuses story-based songs with dense electronic and orchestral arrangements. The group, which began as the solo project of Jocie Adams, formerly of The Low Anthem, includes keyboardist and sample artist Zach Tenorio-Miller and drummer Ray Belli. Arc Iris released its acclaimed self-titled debut in 2014 on ANTI/Bella Union. Subsequently, the band toured with artists such as St. Vincent, Jeff Tweedy, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. In early 2018, Arc Iris joined Kimbra on her North American tour. Later that year, the trio released back to back records, “Icon of Ego,” on Brooklyn label Ba Da Bing Records, and “Foggy Lullaby”, their re-imagination of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue.’ In mid 2019, Arc Iris completed the composition of their futuristic, dystopian concept record, iTMRW set in the year 2080 that is the centerpiece of their multimedia Sci-Fi Ballet.

New York City based Cassandra Jenkins, a songwriter who “knows how to leave an impression” with “elegantly celestial climaxes, emerald green-glowing guitar work”(P4k), has just released her much anticipated first full-length album, Play Till You Win.
The cosmos in Cassandra’s self proclaimed “Cosmic American” songs are both macro and micro, within and without you, as a certain Beatle would say. Ghosts of All Things Must Pass haunt the record’s melodies as a constant stylistic lodestar, with nods woven throughout to Lee Hazelwood’s Hollywood-and-Vine country surrealism or Angeles Badalamenti and David Lynch’s work for Julie Cruise, resulting in a tapestry that is “tender and trance like” (Interview Magazine).
What makes her new collection of songs stand out from fellow acolytes of psychedelic burritos and dusty journeys through gilded palaces of sin, is that her vision and scope of influences are broad, idio-syncratic and ever-changing. Much like Gram Parsons, one of several patron saints lovingly looking over and bestowing their grace over Play Till You Win, Cassandra uses the clarity and smoldering sense of longing conveyed by her “smokey vocals”(NPR) to transcend her urban surroundings in order to connect to a deeper, quintessentially American vein of expression that showcases a sophisticated art heart and a mature point of view about the masks and complications of desire.
