Ticketing Policy
TABLE SEATING POLICY
Table seating for all seated shows is reserved exclusively for ticket holders who purchase “Table Seating” tickets. By purchasing a “Table Seating” ticket you agree to also purchase a minimum of two food and/or beverage items per person. Table seating is first come, first seated. Please arrive early for the best choice of available seats. Seating begins when doors open. Tables are communal so you may be seated with other patrons. We do not take table reservations.
A standing room area is available by the bar for all guests who purchase “Standing Room” tickets. Food and beverage can be purchased at the bar but there is no minimum purchase required in this area.
All tickets sales are final. No refund or credits.

Modern jazz virtuosity combusts with a raw, eclectic mixture of rock, funk, blues, country and R&B in a volatile combination that uniquely reflects our time while evoking the gritty street sounds of a bygone New York on the self-titled debut release by Adam Rogers’ DICE. The explosive power trio brings together Rogers, one of the most acclaimed and inventive guitarists in modern jazz, with a pair of longtime collaborators: bassist Fima Ephron and drummer Nate Smith.
Together, these three adventurous artists have created a uniquely electrifying sound that merges danger-skirting experimentalism with blistering, genre-defying tunes and spontaneous grooves as tightly coiled as a rattlesnake about to strike. It’s a singular concoction, one that could only come from a musician with Rogers’ distinctive background and gift for uniting six-string wizardry with gut-churning propulsion.
The sound of the group reflects the varied influences of Jazz, Funk, Rock and experimental music that have imbued Adam’s musical sphere since first picking up the guitar. Being a product of the 1960s and 70s musical landscape, Adam’s initial musical inspirations were The Beatles and the sounds of R+B that were pervasive at the time – The Temptations, The Four tops, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes – to later subsuming the immense influence of Jimi Hendrix, the blues masters and the music of Charlie Parker and John Coltrane. He has crafted a body of work for the group that, through his kaleidoscopic lens, sonically and musically refracts his musical history into a visceral, groove laden concept.

A native New Yorker, Adam Rogers has been the guitarist of choice for an array of the some of the greatest names and in jazz, pop and world music: Michael Brecker, Cassandra Wilson, Walter Becker, Chris Potter, Joe Jackson, John Zorn, The Gil Evans Orchestra, The Mingus Orchestra, Norah Jones, Paul Simon, John Patitucci, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Ravi Coltrane, Brian Blade, Kenny Barron, Marcus Miller and Regina Carter to name just a few.
He has appeared on over Two Hundred albums and toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, South America, The Middle East and Russia. He has been singled out for praise in Downbeat, The New York Times, The Boston globe, The Village Voice, Jazz Times, Jazziz, Newsweek, Jazz Hot, All about Jazz and The Chicago Sun Times, among numerous other periodicals worldwide.
Adam has co-led the innovative and critically acclaimed group” Lost Tribe,” which released three albums.
His debut CD as leader, “Art of the Invisible,” was released in 2002 to critical acclaim on Criss Cross Records. Offering up a definitive statement as a composer with eight of his own tunes, the quartet featured on this recording includes Ed Simon on piano, Scott Colley on bass and Clarence Penn on drums. His second album featuring exclusively original compositions, “Allegory”, also on Criss Cross, was released in September of 2003 and features the same group with the addition of Chris Potter on saxophone. His most recent CD, Apparitions, with the same lineup continues to showcase Adam’s unique compositional and improvisational abilities. “Time and the Infinite”, also on Criss Cross featuring Scott Colley and Bill Stewart was released in April 2007. His most recent record “Sight” featuring John Patitucci and Clarence Penn was released in May 2009.
About Fima Ephron:
Born in London, England, Fima Ephron moved to New York at age three. After starting playing bass at age thirteen. Fima attended New York city’s famed music and art high school, and was playing professionally by age fourteen. He has gone on to perform and record with a cross section of great talent in the music industry some of whom are: Walter Becker, David Torn, Gil Scott Heron, Natalie Merchant, Meshell N’Degeocello, Screaming Headless Torsos, Kurt Rosenwinkle, Ben Monder, Chris Potter, Wayne Krantz, Don Byron, David Sancious, Adina Menzel, Alana Davis, Morley, Steve Bernstein And Millennial Territory Orchestra, Groove Collective, Kenny Wolleson, Alex Sipiagin, Hasidic New Wave, David Fiuczynski/John Medeski’s ‘Lunar Crush’, Yeoffi, Jeb Loi Nichols, Franklyn Kiermyer, Jaki Byard and the Apollo Stompers, Rise Robots Rise, John Zorn, Brad Shepik and Frank London.
Fima has two acclaimed releases of his own: “Soulmachine” on the Tzadik label and his self released “Quiet city”. He also co-led the acclaimed group “Lost Tribe” and currently leads his own quartet which will release it’s debut recording in 2017. He continues to reside in New York City.
About Nate Smith:
Since moving from Chesapeake, Virginia to New York City in 2001, Nate Smith has helped reinvigorate the international jazz scene with his visceral style of drumming by playing with such esteemed leading lights as bassist Dave Holland, saxophonists Chris Potter and Ravi Coltrane, and singers Patricia Barber, Somi, and José James. The New York Times described Smith as “a firecracker of a drummer.”
Smith’s rising career reaches a new benchmark with the release of his bandleader debut, KINFOLK: Postcards from Everywhere, on which he fuses his original modern jazz compositions with R&B, pop, and hip-hop. The disc shows Smith leading a scintillating core ensemble, consisting of pianist and keyboardist Kris Bowers, guitarist Jeremy Most, alto and soprano saxophonist Jaleel Shaw, electric bassist Fima Ephron, and singer and lyricist Amma Whatt, and Michael Mayo on backing vocals. The lineup expands on several cuts with the inclusion of Potter and Holland along with other illustrious guests – guitarists Lionel Loueke and Adam Rogers, and singer Gretchen Parlato.
