Toebow (pronounced tō-bō) ​is a unique blend of dueling guitars,

Analog synthesizers and 4-part vocal harmonies, accompanied by a driving electric-acoustic percussion section. The band was conceived by musicians and friends of Indie dream-pop group ​BOBBY (Partisan Records) with which Toebow shares two members: Martin Zimmermann and Maia Friedman. Toebow draws from the quirky styles of Talking Heads and Frank Zappa while incorporating percussive rhythms from Brazilian samba to Krautrock. Ethereal and doused in surf-rock guitar, this seductively groovy blend forges the Toebow sound. ​The band has just completed recording their debut album at the Isokon Studio in Woodstock, NY with producer and engineer D James Goodwin.
