Melanie Hamlett is an adventurer, comedian, writer, storyteller, and two-time Moth Story Slam winner. When not living out of the back of her truck somewhere around the country, a backpack around South America, or a trailer with no running water out in New Mexico, she lives in NYC, where she performs all over at places like the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in shows including Asssscat 3000, Nights of Our Lives, Stripped Stories, etc. She’s been featured on the Risk! podcast, has written for publications like Marie Claire and Nerve.com, and co-authored the book Leave the Lipstick, Take the Iguana.
